A woman struck by a falling window in Tsim Sha Tsui on Monday morning has died after being rushed to nearby Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police told HKFP that the woman, aged 25, had passed away and a male companion had also suffered injuries.

A falling window hit the woman as she walked past the Mira Place shopping mall.
Police received reports at 10:25am and cordoned off the scene at 118 Nathan Road for investigation.

Earlier, police misreported her status at the hospital, claiming she had died upon arrival. Although a pulse had been detected, police confirmed at lunchtime that she had died.
