After a successful show in November 2017, Runway Asia is making its return to the Hive Studios with Redress for a charity Runway event like never before – HKFP is a media sponsor.
Runway is a celebration of fashion’s newest movers and shakers, and in the spotlight stand Hong Kong’s up-and-coming designers showcasing their work.
This year, the bi-annual show will be a collaboration with Redress, a local environmental NGO working to reduce textile waste in the fashion industry. Joining us will be nine local designers focusing on sustainable fashion, many of them creating collections from waste materials, along with a line-up of amazing marketplace designers and sponsors.
- Date: Friday June 8.
- Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm.
- Tickets: Premium tickets for HK$300, Standard for HK$200. Advance only, available via Pelago, a percentage of profits go to Redress.
- Place: The Hive Studios, 8F Cheung Hing Industrial Building, 12P Smithfield, Kennedy Town.
The event will kick-off with a light cocktail and networking reception ahead of the fashion show at 8pm. The marketplace will be open before and after the runway show, alongside the sale of raffle tickets with some amazing prizes on offer including luxury hotel stays and beer for a year.
