A couple of weeks ago, specifically December 17th, Barrels stated that they are pausing orders for Dune on December 31st. At that time, the Company said that production of the game had surpassed the 500 unit mark. We now have an updated production number from Brian Savage, Barrels' Chief Business Officer. Several days ago he said that total Dune orders were at 560. This was before distributors had put in their final requests for the game. Between consumer orders over the last few days of December and new distro orders he said that the game will likely cross the 600 unit mark.
A Dune ordered prior to December 31 will have an anticipated ship date of March 2026.
Originally Barrels said that Dune production was limited to 1,100 units. After slow initial sales, demand for the game has picked up. They are leaving the window open to possibly build again in the future if demand is there, but to me another run of the game after this sounded unlikely.
If you want a Dune, make sure to place your order now :)
From Barrels of Fun:
"DUNE PINBALL, LAST CALL TOMORROW (December 31, 2025)
“Myself and the family absolutely adore this game… The video and sound clips from the movies integrate with the modes perfectly… totally immersed.” cocomango, pinside.
Don't miss out. Dune orders will be paused effective December 31. Customers may place orders through Barrels of Fun at BarrelsOfFun.com or through their preferred distributor until December 31.
As of today, all new Dune orders are scheduled to ship in March 2026, regardless of order channel. Orders remain first-come, first-served.
For anyone considering one of these cinematic pinball experiences, consider this your final opportunity to secure a new-in-box Dune machine before they are gone.

While we're talking about Barrels of Fun, let's discuss its other new game, Winchester Mystery House. The current forecast is for it to take around nine months for Barrels of Fun to finish producing all 525 of its Winchester Mystery House orders. The Company is hiring more people and ramping up production. They hope to be able to beat that nine month estimate.
A second Winchester Mystery House is now available for the public to play on location. This one is at Glow In The Park Indoor Mini Golf & Pinball Arcade in Oshkosh, Wisconsin Website. They recently shared a picture of the game and the following message on Facebook:
"IT HAS ARRIVED! #002 (ONE OF THE FIRST IN THE WORLD!)
