As vulnerable as an autopsy. Incredible balance of tone, going from dearly sweet to mortifying scene to scene. Eva Victor just as good as she directs in what is a truly impressive debut (I thought they had directed short films prior, but no she just has the juice). Naomi Ackie is always amazing to see. Cat's adorable.
Not every joke landed for me, but the overall film was just beautiful.
A film at its most liminal. A sleepy audiovisual delight. The most a movie has ever resembled a dream for me personally. It really feels like the kind of dreams I have, just mundane and calm and warm. Though this is far more beautiful than the images my mind create, perhaps the best pillow fight you'll see in a film. The recurring music box sound is gorgeous.
Really spoke to me, would love to see more movies with this exact vibe to it.

Hilarious in supremely dark ways, delightfully mean and always moving.
Jesse Plemons is doing phenomenal work here, as is Emma Stone of course. Also Stavvy!!! And an autistic character portrayed by an autistic actor! Hell yeah!!
Builds off the original very well while maintaining its own identity.
3rd act is awesome on all levels, the ultimate What The Fuck.
Definitely a more accessible Lanthimos film, but sometimes that's okay!
