went in totally blind and was surprised by how much I loved every moment of this film. can't imagine how many man hours went in just the animation/visuals of this, and although it is technically impressive, SADLY im not sure if I'm the biggest fan stylistically.

feel like it draggedddd a bit near the end, but still found myself entertained!! will watch the other films... SOMEDAY.

the fact that this movie exists is insane to me. the fact it came out in the 70s is insane to me. the fact that it's the first x rated ANIMATED FILM is insane to me. and I love it.

the background character's dialogue coming from random recordings bashki recorded while perusing the streets of New York really help the world feel more lived in. that mixed with the dark saturated colors helps place you in this underground sleezy lifestyle… more
