"I want to live a dreamy life"

Original posters that bring a little something out of the ordinary

The time we spend at home varies from person to person. Some days we feel like spending the whole day relaxing, while other days we just pop in for a quick visit.

No matter what, if I can get home, I want to relax my mind and body.

I take a deep breath. A bright sunset is ahead of me. The shiny fruit I bought at the supermarket is a joy to look at. The flower buds that were closed this morning have opened.

Such scenery will gradually lead you to a good mood.

Just by rolling over the random scenes and small details that catch your eye in your mind for a few minutes, you can feel like you've traveled.

I wanted to create a similar experience, so I created an original poster.

This is a special poster that four illustrators drew freely on the same theme, "A spoonful of the extraordinary."

Fruits / Mayumi Ozawa

Not affected by other colors

A clean monotone that can be displayed in any space

A delicate drawing with varying brushstrokes

The motif is fruit

Apples, strawberries...what are these shapes?

Abstract, depending on the viewer

It's interesting how interpretations change

A check vase / Horiha Tamao

It's as if it was painted in one stroke.

An unintentional touch

It gives the space a warm and cozy feel.

The scratched brush strokes look natural and nice.

Every time I see it, my heart melts

There is such a carefree presence in the house.

It may be necessary

Forest Drawing / miltata

Intricately drawn leaves in monochrome

The forest is quiet and tranquil

Your own personal sanctuary

From a distance it looks like an adult

If you look closely, you'll see animals popping out.

It also had a cuteness that wasn't too sweet.

The "if you look closely" part is irresistible.

Horisontti / Aoi Yoshizawa

The motif is the horizon

Like dawn, like dusk

The sky and the sea gently connect and then separate

The vague colors that are unique to that time

I want to see it at the beginning and end of my day

I decorated it in my bedroom

When I look at it, my heart calms down.

Hang it on the wall or lean it against something

All posters are the same size: 318 x 410 mm (F6 size).

It's not too big, so you can hang it on the wall, lean it against a shelf, or place it on the floor to suit your space.

Four staff members tried decorating their homes with it.

All of the designs are very beautiful, but to be honest, there are some concerns about bringing one into your home: will it blend in with the interior? What will its size and presence be like?

We asked four staff members to each choose a poster they liked and hang it up in their homes.

About the author

Fruits / Mayumi Ozawa

It's neither a meal nor a dessert, and the timing of eating it is also one of the joys. The curves and colors make you want to gaze upon it. I used such fruits as my motif to draw this. I hope you will take a moment to look at it in a place where you can take a breather as time flows seamlessly from morning to night, and from night to morning.

A check vase / Horiha Tamao

Things that nourish us in our daily lives. There is a vase that I use often in my daily life. I really like its shape and color. Just as I myself find some relief in knowing that this vase is here, there is nothing that would make me happier than if this painting could nourish even a little someone's life.

Forest Drawing / miltata

Having grown up surrounded by mountains, the forest is a special place where I can reset myself after thinking too much about work and becoming rigid. This painting depicts a forest using a single pencil, but in different ways. From a distance it appears as a large mass, but up close it is just a collection of small leaves; I feel that a real forest is similar to this painting. I would be happy if this forest becomes a part of your everyday scenery.

Horisontti / Aoi Yoshizawa

My favorite view is from the southern coast of Harakka Island, a small island south of Helsinki. It's the color of the sunset horizon on a calm, windless day. There's no wind and the sea is calm. The waves move quietly like a line. I wanted to express that moment of feeling the fresh air in nature. I hope that you can feel the horizon even from your home, just like from a window with a view of the sea.

[Staff Favorites] I'll love my life. A clean, monochrome original poster

◎Product Planner Ichikawa

The scenery I spend my mornings in has changed a little recently.

I chose "Fruits" by Mayumi Ozawa, whose abstract yet delicate drawing caught my eye.

The monochrome design leaves a lot of space, so it seems like it would fit in anywhere, and I thought, "This could be a welcome addition!"

By incorporating it into our daily lives, the living room where the family gathers has become a more comfortable space.
