The Observatory downgraded the storm signal to T1 on Monday, as Tropical Storm Mawar moved inland.
“With Mawar continuing to weaken, local winds will also weaken gradually, but winds will still be occasionally strong offshore at first. Seas will be rough with swells,” the Observatory said.

“When local winds weaken further, the Observatory will cancel all tropical cyclone warning signals.,” it added.
Classes of AM and whole-day kindergartens, schools for children with physical disability and schools for children with intellectual disability are suspended for Monday.
Wet weather will continue this week, with sunny periods.
