The HSBC building in Central was lit with a message in support of the victims of a terrorist attack in Manchester, UK, on Tuesday evening.
The message read: “We stand with the United Kingdom.”

At least 22 people died and 59 were injured in a suicide bombing at a packed pop concert late on Monday night. 22-year-old Salman Abedi has been named by police as the suspected bomber.

Outside Downing Street on Tuesday afternoon, UK Prime Minister Theresa May said: “[W]e all – every single one of us – stand with the people of Manchester at this terrible time…. our values, our country and our way of life will always prevail.”
American singer Ariana Grande expressed “deep regret” over the attack and suspended her world tour. She was due to perform in Hong Kong in September.
