Implementing this coping mechanism on Turtleland would be such a good idea, not just because it's a pun, but because lately, I've been replacing Toxini with Lamplay, who came out at the same time as Turtleland. Now Toxini is just a background character. Lamplay took away his role as the original Autumnal leader, and Turtleland is the one about to avoid conflict(and either failing or doing more harm than good in the meantime), not Toxini.

Turtleland when the non-native Estivals colonize his season and he's forced to accept them because they're also turtling up from the shitty seasons. (Spring is conservative hell, Autumn is war hell, and Winter is slavery hell)

After a bit of daydreaming, I'm thinking Autini could publish a book related to his experience in war, but no one bothers reading it except Mayia, and she loves that book.

Claibornism in a nutshell, pretty much. The only Vernal countries that aren't Claibornic are the multiseasonal ones and Aviair. That's only three secular Vernals. Crazy! At this point, Rose Quartz can be the perfect inspiration for Mayia, but because of how long Steven Universe is, I think I'll only watch the episodes where she appears.

Heh, Greg being dehumanized by someone who only sees him as a human. Interesting, I wonder how that would play out on a demon like Autini.

Segment between 2:11 and 3:56.
For the sake of this section, Europeans will be described as Vernals, Africans as Autumnals, and America as Hibernals. Pretty much everything here is accurate to what I'm thinking about.

1. One issue, [Europeans] needed workers for huge plantations and mines as Native Americans died in the millions due to newfound diseases brought by Europeans.
   • Not sure if this will be canon but I like the idea.
2. going to Asia or the Middle East was out of the question as the Ottoman Empire in its peak acted as the roadblock.
   • The YouTuber brings up this fourth actor which in my universe equates to Estivals. It's interesting that the Vernals didn't bother enslaving Estivals, but I'd say it's less because it's a roadblock and more because Turtleland didn't have enough people.
3. Through education, racism would be taught like it was fact. Then throughout life, you would see people of color in very low status jobs or slavery, which to you would become evidence, further reinforcing that education you had, not knowing that policies like segregation had systematically blocked people of color from opportunities. It was perceptions like this that justified discrimination, enlarging inside institutions and policies for centuries.
   • I love this. This could be why Crystaly and Autini are frienemies: most of the population was taught that Autumnals are inferior, and only a handful unlearned that information. (This handful became bigger as time went on.)
