Hong Kong Disneyland evacuated hundreds of workers from its administrative offices on Monday after receiving a package suspected to contain explosives.
A police spokesperson confirmed to HKFP that the park received suspected explosives and evacuated its employees.

A spokesperson for Hong Kong Disneyland said the park received the package at around 12:30pm on Monday. It immediately alerted the police and evacuated some of its workers from the administrative offices.
A spokesperson for the Fire Department said that about 500 workers had already been evacuated from the buildings before firefighters arrived at the scene. A worker was sent to North Lantau Hospital.
The operations of the park remain undisrupted and there is no plan to evacuate visitors, Apple Daily reported. Fire trucks, ambulances, the police’s Counter Terrorism Response Unit and its Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau responded to the scene.
Local broadcaster TVB cited sources as saying that the package, which contained batteries and wires, was addressed to Disneyland Managing Director Samuel Lau.
