An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 rocked parts of Taiwan and was felt in the capital on Tuesday, according to Taiwan’s Central Weather Bureau.

It was centered around 110km northeast of Taipei. There have been no reports of injuries or fatalities as of yet.

The US Geological Survey measured the quake to be 6.4 in magnitude.
