The Hong Kong Designers Association will be organising a Judges’ Conference as part of the Global Design Awards 2016 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the association.
In the conference, a list of the hottest design topics and the most relevant design trends will be explored, including: Rising Design Women, The Crisis in Agencies: Why Your Best Talent Hates You, and The Growth Dilemma, among many others.
More than ten world-class design masters will also speak at the conference. Among them are New York-based creative director Mara Binudin, Tokyo-born art and film director Masashi Kawamura and German designer Tobias van Schneider.
These world-class design masters are also the judges of the multi-disciplinary Global Design Awards 2016.

The conference is set to be organised on Monday, 7 March 2016 in the VTC Auditorium in Tseung Kwan O. It will run for seven and a half hours from 9:45am to 5:15pm.
While English is the official language of the conference, simultaneous translation into Cantonese and Mandarin will also be available.
To participate, please RSVP at etickets.hk. Tickets are issued free of charge on a first-come-first-served basis. For those who are into more interactive design events, the Judges’ Sharing Session will be held on 4 March 2016. The tickets for the sharing session can be reserved here.
