The Hong Kong Designers Association will be organising a Judges’ Conference as part of the Global Design Awards 2016 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the association.

In the conference, a list of the hottest design topics and the most relevant design trends will be explored, including: Rising Design Women, The Crisis in Agencies: Why Your Best Talent Hates You, and The Growth Dilemma, among many others.

More than ten world-class design masters will also speak at the conference. Among them are New York-based creative director Mara Binudin, Tokyo-born art and film director Masashi Kawamura and German designer Tobias van Schneider.

These world-class design masters are also the judges of the multi-disciplinary Global Design Awards 2016.

The conference is set to be organised on Monday, 7 March 2016 in the VTC Auditorium in Tseung Kwan O. It will run for seven and a half hours from 9:45am to 5:15pm.

While English is the official language of the conference, simultaneous translation into Cantonese and Mandarin will also be available.
