Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Chief of staff has resigned - following raids on his home by anti-corruption agents. Andriy Yermak is accused of embezzling millions of dollars from public funds. He's been a key figure in talks with the US on their peace proposals. In a post on X, Yermak said he's fully cooperating with law enforcement officers. Solving this should be relative easy.. put corrupt officials on trial before a military tribunal and enforce the hashest possible penalties for high treason.. surely Ukraines war effort cannot afford loosing a single euro to corrupt officials and a strong signal must be sent down the ranks.. the deathpenalty should suffice

Corruption is nothing new in Ukraine - all of the powers that be chose to ignore it in their quest to cripple Russia. The question is, why has it become an issue now?
