A taxi crashed onto a Wan Chai pavement, injuring three people on Wednesday night.

The taxi was driving by Hopewell Centre on Queen’s Road East when a pedestrian suddenly crossed the road.

The taxi driver was said to have lost control of the car, crashing on to the pavement and smashing the windows of a car dealership.

Two pedestrians on the pavement were hit by the taxi. The passenger in the taxi also felt unwell, reported local media. The three were hospitalised.
