Zelensky to meet Trump as Russia continues to pound Ukraine

The Ukrainian president will visit Mar-a-Lago to discuss raising pressure on Russia, security guarantees and investment in postwar reconstruction.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was preparing to meet with President Donald Trump to discuss the latest draft of a peace plan on Sunday, while Russia continued to pound his country.

Ukraine agreed to “many different compromises” in the 20-point plan developed jointly with the United States, Zelensky said in a post on X Saturday.
