It happened a couple of months ago. I was browsing an old 4chan archive when I came across this post:
https://old.sage.moe/b/thread/86789377/#q86792961I thought it was pretty funny, so I rewrote it with the equivalent nusoi behaviors, and then in the spirit of the original, I posted it on /soy/ as a satire self-insert thread rather than an HTSMquote.
Later, someone posted a new thread HTSMquoting my thread. Now, that could be interpreted as either mocking the type of person to say those things or simply mocking me. I was paranoid about someone interpreting the post as mocking me, so I entered that thread and dropped the famous line (or a slightly altered version of it) to speak on behalf of OP and clarify that he probably meant to mock the caricature rather than a single person. The OP then replied to me with something along the lines of “Yeah that’s why I made the thread retard”.
So that’s the story.
