Desktop Home app?

Downloaded Home yesterday and already transferred my entire Bank over. I think the mobile/Switch integration is cool, and I like some of the organization options, but overall I felt like Bank was more straightforward to use and organize, especially in regards to a living dex. My living dex is all out of whack on Home and I have to organize everything meticulously to get it organized like it was in Bank.

This got me thinking... a desktop version of Home would be really cool. And for the price we pay per year for premium passes, I think it's something we deserve. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to combine the best aspects of the Switch/mobile versions of the app and add some extra navigational features for a desktop version, because that's really my biggest complaint right now is that I find it a little cumbersome to navigate with hundreds of Pokemon transferred over. What do y'all think?

It's 2025, and we still don't have a way to manage our Pokémon on a PC

And its such a pain to sort my thousands of pokemon.

i had the same thought

It actually ported all of mine over in their very same boxes, but I did have to rename the boxes themselves.

As for a desktop app? Not likely, due to hacking. Which is probably the whole reason we can't edit boxes on mobile.

What in the world... well that's good for you but unfortunate for me. :( I'm working on relabeling all of my living dex mons with their respective regions, but I'm unsure how to approach the actual box organizations. I might just settle for the label organizations because physically organizing the boxes is honestly a daunting task for me. But we'll see.

I didn't even think about the hacking, that's a good point. But I was actually thinking just a website app. Not sure how hackable that is? I honestly wouldn't mind not being able to edit boxes on desktop either, but having the functionality of a mouse would just help a lot with big movements, editing, or labeling.

I organized mine my dex # and then labelling is going to be whether they're fodder or not. I have separate boxes for alternate forms e.g. Galarian, Alolan, etc. and a box for spare legendarys/events/mythicals. Might add more labels when I start breeding for IVs.

All they have to do is release an app on desktop with "Read only" features.

I'm trying to do. Complete the Hisuian Pokédex for the shiny enamorus and hate I have to keep opening the app to check what I need I wish there was a website or app I could use to keep track of my home Pokédex

The mobile version will allow you to see what you're missing from the regional dex while you're playing the game. You could always go old school and write/type into a notepad what you're missing. That's what I did when completing the Hisui dex.

theres alot of googles sheets out there. Notably there is the austinjohnplays one, but thats for a livingdex although i think you could make it work.
