北欧パビリオン presents 梅田ミッドサマー EXPO酒場キタ本店で開催！
太陽が沈まない北欧の祝祭 「ミッドサマー」を大阪・梅田で体験しよう。
現在開催中の「大阪・関西万博」を勝手に盛り上げて勝手に楽しみたい人たちが集う拠点「EXPO酒場」。
万博をツマミに世界中の人が集う酒場として万博期間中は大阪LUCUA（B2F）にキタ本店がOPENしています。
6月21日は、北欧の伝統的な夏至祭「ミッドサマー」をモチーフにした1日限定の特別イベント「北欧パビリオン presents 梅田ミッドサマー」を開催します。
このイベントは、大阪・関西万博に出展中の北欧パビリオンとEXPO酒場が共同でお届けする、ミッドサマーを新解釈した都市型パーティーとなっています。

受付にてビールの引き換え券と花冠をお渡しします。

《メイポール装飾と会場演出》
ミッドサマーの象徴「メイポール」をモチーフにした装飾を会場中央に設置。都市の中に現れる北欧の森の広場として、幻想的な空間を演出します。

《花冠のプレゼント（数量限定、先着順）》
来場者にはデンマークのフローリスト、ニコライ・バーグマンの花冠を先着50名様にプレゼント。
先着に入らなかった人にも素敵なお花のギフトを用意しています。

《北欧クラフトビールを味わう》
万博会場でも人気の北欧パビリオンのレストランチームが、1日限定でEXPO 酒場に人気ビールを携えて出張参加。北欧各国のクラフトビールを提供し、本場の味と空気を梅田で再現します。

この夏、いちばん明るい夜に、乾杯。
太陽が沈まない——
そんな白夜を祝うために、
北欧では人々が自然の中に集い、
花を編み、音楽を奏で、お酒を片手に踊り出す。
それは、長く厳しい冬を越えてようやく訪れる、
年に一度の祝祭。
そして今、ここ梅田でも
都市のど真ん中に咲く、 明るい夜へようこそ。
花冠をかぶって、白い服をまとい、
ビールで乾杯して、踊ろう。
これは、ホラーじゃない方のミッドサマー。
さあ、祝祭をはじめよう。

人口2,700万人、GDP1兆6,000億米ドルを誇るヨーロッパ第5位、世界第10位の経済規模を持つ北欧5カ国（デンマーク、フィンランド、アイスランド、ノルウェー、スウェーデン）からなるタイプA のパビリオンです。
北欧5カ国パビリオンの万博参加は、2025 年で3 回目となります。2025年の大阪・関西万博では「ノルディック・サークル～北欧と共に、より良い明日へ～」をコンセプトに、北欧5カ国がより良い未来に向かって世界をリードするテクノロジー、イノベーション、サステイナビリティの3つの分野での先進的な取り組みをご紹介します。

■「EXPO酒場 本店」とは
EXPO酒場は、大阪・関西万博の会期（2025年4月13日〜10月13日）を中心に展開する、期間限定のポップアップ酒場プロジェクトです。
大阪の夜のまちに繰り出す「0次会」の拠点として、そして海外スタッフへのねぎらいや、来訪者同士の交流が生まれる場として、街と万博をつなげていきます。

Nordic Pavilion presents: Umeda Midsummer
Experience the magic of a Nordic midsummer festival at EXPO Sakaba Kita Main Branch!
In the spirit of the midnight sun, come and enjoy this one-night celebration of Midsummer, a traditional Nordic holiday, right in the heart of Umeda, Osaka.
EXPO Sakaba is a pop-up gathering space where people who want to celebrate the Osaka-Kansai Expo in their own way come together, drink, and connect.
Located in LUCUA Osaka (B2F), the Kita Main Branch opens for the entire duration of the Expo as a casual cultural hub where locals and international visitors mix.
On Saturday, June 21, we’ll host a one-day-only event, "Umeda Midsummer presented by Nordic Pavilion", reinterpreting this Nordic tradition as a modern urban celebration in collaboration with the official Nordic Pavilion from the Expo.

■Midsummer Maypole Installation & Venue Styling
A maypole, the symbol of Midsummer, will stand in the center of the venue—creating a Nordic forest square in the middle of the city.

■Limited Flower Crown Giveaway
The first 50 guests will receive an original flower crown by Nicolai Bergmann, a Danish floral artist.
Other floral gifts will be available for later arrivals (while supplies last).
■Nordic Craft Beer Pop-up
For one day only, the Nordic Pavilion's Expo restaurant team will bring their popular selection of beers to EXPO Sakaba. Taste authentic craft beer from across the Nordic region.

《Event Concept》
The brightest night of summer—cheers!
In the Nordics, where the sun never sets, people gather in nature, weave flowers into crowns, dance with drinks in hand, and celebrate the long-awaited arrival of summer.
This is a once-a-year festival following the harsh winter.
Now, that same brightness blooms in the middle of Osaka.
Put on your white clothes, wear a flower crown, raise your glass of beer—and let’s dance.
This is the other kind of Midsummer. Not the horror one.
Let the festival begin.
■About the Nordic Pavilion
Comprising five countries—Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden—with a combined population of 27 million and a GDP of $1.6 trillion USD, the Nordic Pavilion is a Type A Expo participant.
This marks the third joint appearance by the Nordic countries at a World Expo.
At the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, the pavilion will showcase cutting-edge initiatives in Technology, Innovation, and Sustainability, under the theme:
“Nordic Circle: Towards a Better Tomorrow, Together”

■About EXPO Sakaba
EXPO Sakaba is a limited-time popup bar project running throughout the Osaka-Kansai Expo (April 13–October 13, 2025).
Serving as a hub for “pre-night-out” gatherings, EXPO Sakaba connects the city to the Expo, providing a space for appreciation, relaxation, and spontaneous cross-cultural interaction.
