クロノアクロニクル第３９回！ 今回はBitSummitで朝早いのでちょっと早めに更新！ 今週は声優さんにまつわるエピソードを！
Klonoa Chronicles #39! We’re updating a little early this time because of BitSummit! This week we have an episode about the voice actors!
エンディングはさすがに素人では無理と思い、プロの方をお願いしました。 クロノアが渡辺久美子さんで、ヒューポーが瀧本富士子さんです。 お二人ともファントマイル語にはとても苦労されてましたね。
For the ending, I thought it was impossible for an amateur to do it, so I asked a professional to do it. Klonoa was done by Kumiko Watanabe and Huepow by Fujiko Takimoto. Both of them had a very hard time with the Phantomile language.
でもさすがプロ。次第に収録が進むに連れてうまくなっていきました。 じっじが死んじゃったシーンで空に向かってクロノアが絶叫する所も、プロの声優さんの音声が乗った途端、全身に電気が走りましたね。 デバッグしながら何度も密かに涙したシーンです。
But as expected of a professional, as the recording progressed, they got better and better. In the scene where Klonoa screams into the sky when his grandfather dies, as soon as the professional voice actor’s voice was heard, electricity ran through my body. I secretly cried many times while debugging this scene.
最後のエンディングの収録では、状況とその時の心情を説明しただけで、映像に合わせて迫真の演技を、あの言葉でしかも感情を込めて表現してくれました。 収録が終わった瞬間、そこにいたスタッフはみんな感動してしまって、わたしもOKを言うのも忘れて放心状態でした。
During the recording of the ending scene, I only had to explain the situation and how I felt at the time, and she gave a true-to-life performance with words and emotions that matched the video. The moment the recording was over, all the staff there were so moved that I forgot to say OK and let myself get lost in the moment.
最初の由水君の絵コンテにはリングを掴んで引っ張り合う所では音声なしになってましたが、声優さんたちがムービーを観ながら収録をした際、「クロア、クロア」「ヒューポ、ヒューポ」って自然とセリフが出てきて、鳥肌が立つ程感動したので採用になったのでした。
However, when the voice actors recorded the scene while watching the movie, they naturally said “Kuroa, Kuroa!”, “Hyūpo, Hyūpo!”, which gave me goosebumps, so I adopted it.
渡辺久美子さんはその後ケロロ軍曹もやられてました。 ある年のバンナムの新人歓迎会がホテルの会場で開かれた時、サプライズゲストでケロロ軍曹が登場したんです。もちろん着ぐるみの。その声の出演で渡辺さんもいらしてました。
Kumiko Watanabe later also played Sergeant Keroro. One year, when Bandai Namco held a welcome party for newcomers at a hotel, Sergeant Keroro appeared as a surprise guest. Of course, he was in a costume. Ms. Watanabe also appeared as the voice of the character.
するとスタッフが私を呼びにきて楽屋に連れられて行くと、渡辺さんがいました。 何でも渡辺さんはクロノアにとっても思い入れがあって、今日来ればスタッフと再会できるかもと思ってバンナムの仕事を受けてくれたんだと言うのです。 何ともありがたい、光栄なことですね～。 つづく
Then a staff member came to call me and took me to the dressing room, where I found Ms. Watanabe. He told me that Ms. Watanabe had a special place in her heart for Klonoa, and that she had accepted the Bandai Namco job because she thought she might be able to meet the staff again if she came today.
