Corpo is a job. How you handle your time in and after corpo tells a LOT about how professional and responsible you are as an individual. I feel many Vtubers forget that a JOB is a JOB, and pretty much every job has downsides and stuff that feels uncompromising and like BS. It sucks for sure if the company doesn't have clauses for being accommodating with everyone's individual needs, but that is something that should have been discussed prior to signing on an employment contract. Do your research on a company, talk to a lawyer about the contract, and for the love of god remember at the end of a day, it's a JOB. Crashing out with emotional panicked responses, throwing your coworkers under the bus while also saying you felt suicidal, is incredibly guilt-trippy as fuck and immature. It's the equivalent of a google dockey but towards a company instead of an individual. From a professional POV, you just barred yourself from any future opportunities for good. If that's what you want, go for it. 👍 But don't drag your coworkers into your mess. I ain't glazing corpos, but if you choose to sign up for corpo, I have zero sympathy if you do something dumb that makes you look unprofessional while being in said corpo. No corpo is perfect and the biggest tells if a company is truly corrupt or poorly run is if a lot of the talents choose not to renew, especially within their first year. Remember, most of the time the existing talents are under NDA and cannot talk about the work conditions freely without jeopardizing their jobs. The talents that get terminated or leave early will almost always give a biased POV because they felt mistreated, but confirmation bias may not be the whole entire truth. No corpo is perfect. They all have flaws. But some people just aren't cut out for a job with strict contracts either. Both can be true.

the 🐘 here is that a certain demographic is absent from this discussion entirely bc the ppl involved are not on their radar. and bc that group is absent, we can actually push these arguments forward without people brigading

Can I ask a very honest question? I might be misremembering things because I was very biased back then. I genuinely want to understand how these situations are comparable nitter.net/spideybabeyy/status/20…
Why are people comparing 🏆 situation with the current one? I mean, cmiiw, wasn't in 🏆 case she wanted to resign but because her resignation reasons were serious, she asked for her lawyer to make it for her, the document/letter had some people's real name(obv. a lawyer made it),

That wouldn’t have been applicable then. Fucking moron. It’s almost like different situations have their own INDIVIDUAL assessments.
