埔交琴日提過，原本九巴會係平安夜深夜同埋除夕深夜開辦 N71 綫，並且已經上載至運輸署交通通告，但最後「臨門射失」變咗只會喺除夕夜開辦 71P 綫。

及至今日九巴正式撤回開辦 71P 綫的通告，並改為係今晚平安夜深夜、同埋除夕深夜開辦 N71 綫，行車走綫、開出班次、收費（$8.1）均和琴日提到嘅 71P 綫完全一模一樣。

係度埔交不禁都要問一句，到底九巴做緊乜嘢？開綫之前幾個鐘先突然改返 number 又宣佈即晚提供服務，到底有冇同運輸署溝通好？當乘客係乜嘢？

KMB originally planned — as we mentioned yesterday — to operate special late night town service N71 on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, a move that was announced in Transport Department’s traffic advice. But at the very last minute, they changed their mind and decided to renumber the route to 71P, and only run it on New Year’s Eve.

Today, KMB has officially withdrawn said notice, replacing it with one that says N71 will operate tonight on Christmas Eve as well as on New Year’s Eve. The routeing, departure times, and fare ($8.1) are exactly the same as the 71P arrangement mentioned yesterday.

At this point, one really has to ask: what on earth is KMB doing? Changing the route number back out of nowhere and suddenly announcing service for tonight — did they even communicate with the Transport Department?
