I doubt it would change any fan's mind but for anyone covering this topic, I auditioned + interviewed for this role. • The application questionnaire asks if you have a valid ID or passport • The interview I had included questions regarding ability to travel to Japan. I would be surprised if his contract didn't include obligations to travel, since accepting the role likely means going to Japan shortly after hire in order to record the group debut song. And if it does, I think a larger part of the responsibility regarding Nix's phobia of flight lands on him. If you are signing that contract, you are committing to taking measures to meet those obligations. FSP perhaps could have handled it differently, and perhaps shouldn't have hired him, but he's not blameless. Also, listing reasons to terminate is necessary since Nix made this incident public initially.
