The foveated rendering and streaming with eye tracking seems really interesting, especially with the high resolution of the display. Eye tracking in general has a lot of potential with NPCs responding to what you are looking at. Like if you are a sperg that can't make direct eye contact, maybe they respond to it. Or if you make eye contact, they look away after a second or two depending on what kind of person they are. Or getting scolded when you look at tits. Things like that. I hope the cameras that do it are able to be tapped into for even more than that like detecting if you look angry or sad.

Most standalone VR headsets are just glorified android phones. So long as it's an APK it should work. Normal phone apps even work on Metaslop if you sideload them, and valve said they would make sideloading easy
