Yet Another Azeron Post Yet Another Azeron Post

I'm a Fortnite player for about 2 1/2 years. That's the only game I play. I play controller (non-claw) on PC. I've recently been trying to put my toe into builds. I have been playing with a GameSir G7 HE Wired controller with 2 paddles on the back. I love the controller--setup, feel, expense. However, to give myself more of a chance for builds, I purchased a PowerA Fusion Pro controller with 4 paddles on the back.

In the process of setting up binds for builds with the 4 paddle controller, I realize what a disadvantage playing builds on controller is for 2 reasons: 1) There aren't as many buttons for binds; and 2) With a controller with paddles, you can only MIRROR the face buttons, not have paddles as distinct separate inputs into the game. Because of these issues, trying to invest in time/energy to learn builds has been very discouraging.

I know that KB/M has more than enough binds for the game. I tried this a few times. What I really struggle with was WASD movement. I'd gotten too used to the stick movement on controller for movement.

In comes the Azeron. Looking at the various models, I think I'm leaning towards the Cyborg 2 model. However, I still don't really understand the difference between all of the Azeron models: Cyro vs Keyzen vs Cyborg. I guess the Keyzen is more like a traditional keyboard for players who are switching from KB/M? And then there's compact vs regular? I suppose for up finger clicks instead of reaching up and pushing down? If someone could lay out the differences in all models, I'd really appreciate it.

Another thing I'm struggling with is the cost. I know that they're currently running a winter sale, but with tariffs, shipping and tax, the unit alone is > $300. I see the price tag for purchasing something from Latvia and I think, I could get another PowerA Fusion controller or 2 more Gamesir controllers just for the shipping and tariff cost, which I won't get back if I return the unit. I also get hesitant about dealing with a company in Latvia because "free fixes" with a warranty still involve shipping to another country and the shipping will likely be "another controller's" cost. Others have said that the unit's build quality is basically 3D printer cheap and not worth the high cost. I would appreciate anyone's experience on an Azeron unit that had to be fixed and how it turned out.

Finally, are there any other options that might be more local/cheaper than Azeron? I saw a unit for a thumb control stick that you attach to your keyboard, but I'm not as familiar with those.

Thanks in advance for any input on these questions.

One handed gaming One handed gaming

Hi!

Broke my wrist snowboarding yesterday, luckily the orthopedic surgeon said it looked like it would heal anatomically according to my x-rays but it would be crucial not to use the hand four weeks and maybe longer to ensure it heals faster.

Long story short gaming is quite social for me and I have a group of friends that live scattered across the country and none of us are the kinds of people to call on the phone

I've been able to play bf6 with a Corsair scimitar on my gaming desktop but it is far from optimal with wasd on the thumb with all the rest of the buttons I need. Also I'm primarily a console player so I miss the analog.

When I first saw the cyro on YouTube I was sold but with the 4-5 week production time before it ships hopefully I would be back to playing with both hands on my console again.

Is anybody looking to sell theirs?

This guy on TikTok is claiming to get aim assist in Warzone with his Cyborg II. This guy on TikTok is claiming to get aim assist in Warzone with his Cyborg II.

As the title says, this guy is claiming to get aim assist using just his Cyborg II, a mouse, and the official Azeron software. I happen to also have this setup, and I do not get aim assist. He made this video claiming that he doesn't cheat and this was his way of explaining his sticky aim. I never accused him of cheating or questioned anything other than telling him that I have the same setup and I don't get aim assist. He then directed me to look at his settings video, and then I replied saying that I didn't see a settings video. There was not a single argument to be had. He blocked me after, and I genuinely didn't know why. The only thing I can think of is that maybe he didn't want me revealing that you actually don't get aim assist like he says. It makes me wonder if he was using this to hide a Cronus or worse? He openly three boxes (yes 3) on his Twitch stream to get the lobbies he gets.

I guess I'm also posting to make sure you aren't supposed to get aim assist with the Cyborg II in Warzone. 😂

PSA for Linux Users - WinBoat PSA for Linux Users - WinBoat

Hi linux friends! I wanted to shout out WinBoat as a compatibility tool. It's basically a virtual machine that runs in docker and has a user friendly gui. It'll allow you to install the regular Azeron software, and then launch it from the gui. You won't be able to use the software profiles, but you can configure and save profiles to apply to the onboard memory, just as you would on windows. They have good documentation on their website, and there are some good videos on youtube. Just be sure to enable experimental features in the configuration tab; an option for usb passthrough will appear, and you'll be able to select the azeron from a dropdown menu. Stop passthrough when you're done configuring, so you can use it in your linux programs.

Battlefield 6 – Azeron analog joystick issues after latest update (inverted axis / mouse-like Battlefield 6 – Azeron analog joystick issues after latest update (inverted axis / mouse-like

Hi everyone,

Since the latest Battlefield 6 update, I’ve been experiencing some strange behavior with my Azeron Keyzen analog joystick, and I’m wondering if anyone else is facing the same issue or has found a workaround.

Here’s what’s happening:

When the analog joystick is configured as a 360 joystick, analog behaves like a mouse input, not like a true controller stick for movement. It feels inconsistent and unnatural, as if the game is reading it as mouse movement instead of analog input.

If I switch the analog to keyboard mode or standard 360 joystick mode, the movement works, but the horizontal axis is inverted. The problem is that even if I change or invert the axis in the game settings or remap the keys, the horizontal movement remains inverted no matter what I do.

This was not happening before the update, so it seems like something changed in how Battlefield 6 is interpreting analog inputs or mixed input devices.

Has anyone else using Azeron / analog keypads noticed this? Any known fixes, config tweaks, or confirmation that this is a BF6-side issue would be really appreciated.

I have been trying to resolve this since two hours now.

Thanks in advance

Controller Alternative on PC Controller Alternative on PC

Hello everyone, trying to see if it's possible to have both the Cyborg 2 (left hand) & the Cyro (right hand). Then use the Cyborg 2 for movement (joystick) & binds then the Cyro for look/camera angles (joystick) & binds.

Tried using a keyboard and movement really was the hardest thing for me but I'd love to have that controller experience separate from an actual controller. I don't play multiplayer fps type games that much anymore. Mainly single player & RPG type games if that makes any difference.

Any suggestions with the Cyborg 2 would be appreciated!

Edit: Thanks for all of those who commented, looks like I'll just do Cyborg 2 & MMO Mouse. Excited to learn both of these soon!

POE 2 POE 2

I just received my Keyzen and I love it, but I started to play the new POE2 update and having some trouble with the WASD controls. It feels very choppy and wouldn’t move my character when I was using anything other then straight up, down, left or right. It didn’t seem to give me the eight direction joystick inputs. So I changed the corners to W or S. Does anybody know suggestion or what to do in the situation? I didn’t have this problem playing overwatch yesterday.

Keyzen vs Cyborg 2 Keyzen vs Cyborg 2

Hi all,

Posted here before not long ago, and I'm still thinking about an Azeron. I have a couple of questions that aren't answered in various videos.

For the Cyborg, is the side to side movement needed to take advantage of the finger based inputs at all unnatural? Is it at all worse typing on a staggered standard keyboard in terms of movements? I have seen videos but it's difficult to see how exactly one proficiently and quickly moves their fingertips in a side to side pattern.

I have played MnK most of my life. I actually haven't owned a console since the PS2 noting that the Switch and it's controller don't really count IMO. I do like the tactile feeling of a keyboard, though I don't use tactile switches.

Noting that I am trying to get away from WASD due to middle finger strain, which is the best option for someone who just feels kinda slow and kinda paiined by a mechanical keyboard?

Need some advice or suggestion Need some advice or suggestion

Hi, this is my first post here.

I've been used the Classic Cyborg before, but still prefer keyboard feelings, so I sold it to someone else long time ago.

Now Azeron released Keyzen and I'm really interested to buy one, unfortunately my 18 cm hand size doesn't reach the Azeron recommends. I had some researched that it will hard to reach the 3 upper keys rows.

Is it any way to make it easier to reach? or should I wait for a new model like Keyzen 2 that they make for small to medium hand user?

Keyzen - other keycaps Keyzen - other keycaps

I don't really like the keycaps on my keyzen. Or, maybe I mainly just need that little homing-bump, like on F and J. So I am considering replacing the keycaps. I don't play that much, and assume I will just keep one keymap, and instead just change ingame key settings per game, rather than having multiple profiles. Because of this, lettering and symbols would be okay.

A) is there a simple way to add a homing bump? Can I get similar keycaps, and just an F key. I don't care whether it has a letter on it or is blank. Is there a 3D-model available?
I have some small rubber-sticky bumps, similar to those under the keyzen, I am considering putting one on a key cap, though it may still be too big.

B) Could I basically just buy any MX-compatible key cap? It seems the placement of switches are pretty tight, and I am worried other keycaps may interfere with each other?

G13 Replacement G13 Replacement

My Logitech G13 recently died and I need a replacement. I was thinking about the Cyborg 2 (large) or the Cyborg 2 Compact, but then realized the Keyzen might be closer to what I was using.

I do not want to use the stick to control movement. Currently I bind the stick on my G13 to multiple functions in whatever game I’m playing. Keys 1-4 for example.

I do have large hands. 8” (20cm) from wrist to tip. I really want the comfort this device provides and replacement functionality of the G13. Both have a premium price tag but my G13 lasted me 15 years, so if it’s worth it I don’t mind since it should last me a while and the switches and material are of good quality.

Mainly I play extraction shooters, Diablo type games and mmo. I only have a Razer gaming mouse with the standard buttons. So more buttons could be nice for mmo games (well any game really).

Any feedback is appreciated. I am really torn on what to get.

Got the cyborg 2 Immediate disappointment, and then... Got the cyborg 2 Immediate disappointment, and then...

Got the black Friday deal, finally arrived, looks great. Spent a couple hours getting all the right angles locked in. Doing alot of double clicking because the switches are so easy to click but I believe with a little practice and some adjusting positioning more will correct that. I have long fingers, maybe I can get them to build custom finger mounts extended a half inch.

Got the software installed, specifically for playing ark raiders. I find out that the game doesn't do dual input controller and keyboard, no worries it's got 8 directional key binds for wasd movement right. How does it work with wasd and 1234, hell I dont know, super software magic, however it didnt. So I'm in game trying to move with wasd on the thumbstick and it was a mess, learning curve aside. Trying to set an a+w bind for directional in 8 way wasn't working, would not allow me to asign it, wasn't making sense to me.

Almost giving up, went to reddit and found if I turn off the 8 way key binding, it should give me the diagnal movement a+w etc, and it did. Basically, way simpler than I was making it. This made everything click, I dont even miss the keyboard.

I have no doubt after a week of getting everything memorized this will be game changing, literally. Only been playing for a couple hours, absolutely everything I hoped.

Very awesome product.

Thumbstick button on Cyborg 2 Halleffect Elite Thumbstick button on Cyborg 2 Halleffect Elite

Just got a cyborg 2 refurb from Black Friday sales. Spent 2 days trying to adjust the fingers and now I am trying to get used to the buttons and gain muscle memories.

Since on keyboard your jump is always spacebar pressed with your thumb, I figured it would be a seamless transition if I just use the joystick thumb click. Little do I know that click takes significant amount of effort to press down even when the joystick is in the straight position with full counter force on it. I am wondering if everyone else have similar experience with the thumbstick click.

In addition, I noticed the finger click paddle things have a pretty high action, which means that its not as responsive as the keyboard at repetitive pressing the same key. Is there a way to change the action for the paddles?

Help me decide between the cyborg 2 and the keyzen. Help me decide between the cyborg 2 and the keyzen.

Im torn between the two as I like the real keyboard keys of the keyzen but prefer the less amo7nt of travel between keys on the cyborg 2. I have also read comments that claim the cyborg 2 has issues with breaking easily but those comments are like 2 years old.

I don't play whole ton of competitive games and plan to use it for games like warframe, the insomiac spiderman games, sonic frontiers, sonic unleashed and the elder scrolls series.

Which one should I get when I eventually have the money.

Is there a way to get 2 dead zones in the thumbstick where after the first threshold but before the second it would press (A,W,S or D) +Ctrl but after the second threshold just (A,W,S or D) so it would operate similar to how you walk or run on console. Switched to Keyzen, great but weird sticks Switched to Keyzen, great but weird sticks

I jumped on the black friday discount for Keyzen. At the time I already had a Cyborg II compact, but wanted to try this instead.

Keyzen really feels like what I originally expected from Cyborg. I got the Cherry blue switches and I really appreciate the extra effort needed to push down the keys. I would often trigger some keys by accident, and I prefer to use more force when pushing on buttons. Overall, it's really great.

One weird thing is that the thumbstick and little rocker nib seem to be inverted or crossed. When I move them in what would be the forward direction, the input is detected as "left" movement. Back is right, and so on. When I set it to keyboard mouse and add a 90 degree offset, it works fine. I can't figure out how to stop it in other modes. I didn't have this problem with Cyborg. Anyone else encounter this?

The ReWASD conundrum, redux: is there any better keymap alternative currently available? The ReWASD conundrum, redux: is there any better keymap alternative currently available?

ReWASD keeps getting negative press, and the latest round of game bans have brought more. For those not in the know, EA is now banning players from online games just for having ReWASD installed.

I'm not concerned with that directly as I don't play those games, but it's just one more big point against using and supporting ReWASD and their terrible business ethics. As a Cyborg user who only uses ReWASD because of it's significant advanced features over the official Azeron software, I'd like to have an excuse to ditch ReWASD and uninstall their software once and for all. But unfortunately Azeron seems to have some kind of close business relationship with them. Which results in me having a very hard time recommending the keypad to anyone who likes extensive configuration options.

So what's the current line-up of Azeron-compatible ReWASD alternatives, here in December of 2025?

EDIT I was a bit harsh initially on the Azeron software, but I really don't hate it. It's just nowhere near the level of configurability of ReWASD, and I'd really like to find something that comes close.

Please tell me this frustration is worth it. Please tell me this frustration is worth it.

I want one.

I have the money.

I want to use a specific card.

Card in question was misplaced.

I have tried to replace it 5x times.

First, the card isn't sent after I call in.

Second, is sent to the wrong end of town (I'm 123 North, it gets sent to 123 South!)

Third, gets sent to 123 South is not handed to someone but a notice is left THEN THE SOUTH PEOPLE PICK IT UP.

Fourth, I am told it will be sent and I don't need to call in to confirm. I called in today to check, no card sent.

Fifth (today), card sent, told to call in Monday for tracking.

I am able to use the virtual card for purchase in person, but not for GPay to azeron.

This feels like groundhogs day.

I'm just frustrated. Thanks for letting me vent. I want to use this specific card for reasons. I know I can use another.

Tell me this frustration is it worth it and why, please.

Fingers sore after first use. Fingers sore after first use.

Hi. I'm a new user to the Azeron. I like it so far, and I know that it has a lot of potential once I get the muscle memory, but it feels like most of my problems so far seem to stem from my fingers being weak. My grip strength is fine, it's just that any other direction I move my fingers in seems to hurt after extended use (along with it feeling unnatural to move my fingers in those directions.) I was wondering if anyone had any finger workouts that I could do to strengthen my fingers, or if I should just buy one of those finger-stretcher workout things (like the one Dr. Strange uses near the beginning of the first movie. I might be misremembering, though)

Keyzen, Day 0 Keyzen, Day 0

I just tried my new Keyzen.

I am coming from a Classic, and I thought that keyboard switches could be better than mouse ones. I am not sure yet but, well, day 0.

So far the good is that the build quality seems a little better than my old Azeron, the packaging and accessories seem higher quality too.

I think I might try the flat palmrest or use some spacers to rise it a bit for easier key access.

The bad at the moment is the thumbstick tower adjustment. Unless the index tower is fully outside it is impossible to set it in the first position (the one closer to the other towers) which would be my choice.

This is because the three extra index keys and the pivot wheel bump into the pivot mechanism for the thumbstick assembly. That's a bummer but if you have very large hands it won't happen.

Oh, also the thumb keys could use some more degree of customization.

Tips for getting used to Azeron Cyborg II faster? Tips for getting used to Azeron Cyborg II faster?

Im coming from years and years of KBM playing shooters and other games on PC and I have a lot of HE keyboards like wooting, Nuphy Air and Others, but I am just a tech need and I thought maybe the Cyborg would improve my play a little but having a tough time relearning my muscle memory.

Had a few deaths in Space Marine 2 and Arc Raiders that I wouldn't have had just due to fumbling the keys.

Are there any tricks to getting used to the cyborg faster or do you just need to play with it for a couple weeks?

Is there a rough 3d model of the Keyzen Is there a rough 3d model of the Keyzen

So I am on the fence for the Keyzen as I am both a leftie and tired of remapping key as the standard WASD is awkward to use.

But I also have hands on the smaller size, at least smaller than the recommended size.

So I was hoping somebody has made a rough model of the keyzen I could 3d-print myself. The model should have the same dimensions, same shape, and a rough outline of where the buttons/thumbstick are. This would very quickly show me if the size is something I could get used to.

Azeron Cyborg 2 detected as Xbox controller while trying to run FO3/FONV Azeron Cyborg 2 detected as Xbox controller while trying to run FO3/FONV

I'm trying to run the Steam version of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas with an Azeron Cyborg 2 on Windows 11.

As I have learned, the Cyborg is recognized by Windows as several devices at the same time, because it has a multitude of inputs, such as a joystick, which can all be seen in Device Manager, especially under HID devices.

The one "device" that is troubling me though is the "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" which for some reason is one of the listed devices that come standard with the Cyborg 2.

If I leave that Xbox controller enabled, when I load Fallout the main menu expects "B/Y" commands as if I was using an Xbox, and the mouse cursor doesn't work. If I however DISABLE the Xbox controller, the "B/Y" commands go away and the mouse works again, which is progress, but when I do that the Azeron software no longer recognizes button presses on my Cyborg.

So I'm in a catch-22. I need the game to not automatically assume it's an Xbox controller, yet still accept my Azeron Cyborg inputs.

To fix it so far I've experimented with Steam options, I made changes to the .ini files associated with Fallout, and Ive tried using HIDHide and AntiMicroX.

I've gotten as far as I could using ChatGPT and traditional research. Anyone know how to tame this Azeron-induced phantom XBox device?

Left right strafing with WASD ( keyzen) vs thumbstick(cyborg2) Left right strafing with WASD ( keyzen) vs thumbstick(cyborg2)

Im planning to buy an Azeron.

I was hyped for the cyborg 2. I am an analyst and I over analyse everything before I commit.
So please indulge my question here.

So I saw in one of the reviews ( i think the one from linus ) that doing a left and stop with right strafe, is horrible with the thumbstick. Then I am talking about games that need this like CS or Valo. Can anyone here with hands on experience comment to that ?

If I do it here in real life, using index and ring finger, im definitely faster than my thumb.
Im on the fence about choosing keyzen over cyborg2.

I know I will need to remap my brain, but the cyborg2 seems so good on paper.
Besides the point raised above.

Why am I no longer able to play? I understand reWASD isn’t allowed, but there’s nothing in the user agreement stating that using my specific setup is a punishable offense. Any suggestions?

Customizable ALTernative keys in Azeron Software Customizable ALTernative keys in Azeron Software

Hello everyone,

I'm about to purchase an Azeron Keyzen and I have a question about the functionality within the Azeron software.

I want to know if the software supports the creation of alternate layers that can be activated by pressing specific buttons.

For example, assume I designate buttons 13 and 14 (or any chosen key) to act as a modifier key. This would allow for alternative key-mapping where:

  1. Pressing Button 1 alone maps to the key 'C'.

  2. Pressing Button 1 and 13 simultaneously maps to a different key, such as 'L'.

  3. Pressing Button 1 and 14 simultaneously maps to "P"

same for all other keys that are not 13 and 14 (in this example)

Does the Azeron software have this capability built-in?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Duties/Tax to ship to Canada ? Is there a better carrier to reduce risks ? Duties/Tax to ship to Canada ? Is there a better carrier to reduce risks ?

Hello everyone,

I've been waiting for a long time to buy an Azeron product but as I was really used to the Logitech G13 then a Razer Orbweaver and currently an already dying Tartarus, having mechanical keys (or at least not mouse like clicks is a minimum to me).
While the Keyzen is kind of a deception with the bad Cherry MX, it's at least now good enough for me to get one, and as I said, my Tartarus horrible thumbstick is dying so it's time.

I'm wondering though, I've seen thread from people in the US having no duties at all, but the website warns me I might get some to ship in Canada, which I was expecting but I'd like to know if anybody shipped to Quebec/Canada before and had issues ?

I'll be mostly playing Warframe and single player games, I usually have the default button under my middle finger as a "sprint" key, but maybe this will be handled by the real joystick.. It's my big concern actually, having a key that is down 90% of the time feels more comfortable on keys than mouse clicks of the Cyborg II.

When Using with XIM Apex When Using with XIM Apex

I use my Cyborg on my PC and Xbox, using XIM Apex when using with the latter. I occasionally had a situation where I would have to reset my Cyborg and re-program when using it with XIM, but lately, I've been forced to perform reset and re-install much more frequently, even when I'm not switching. I'm wondering if it has something to do with power source but not 100% sure.

Does anyone else need to frequently reset and is there a method to prevent the frequent resetting?

Is Azeron the only choice for one handed gaming on MMORPG? (mouse+keyboard on one) Is Azeron the only choice for one handed gaming on MMORPG? (mouse+keyboard on one)

I want this product because I have a problem and I can't play with two hands. I can only use my right hand. So far no product offered this, there are mmorpg mouses with many keys but it's hard to move and use skills at the same time with one hand, it's even harder to strafe with them which is important if you want to be competitive on PvE. Tbh I never liked mmorpg mouses. There are some keypads with an analog stick but they can't be used as mouse.

Due to the above, I'm forced to play with a controller which I hate because it's always hard with the heavy MMORPG UI usage and it's not very ergonomic for mmorpg.

Will Azeron solve my problem? I have seen many comments that it's good for one handed gaming, so I wonder.

Transitioning from xbox controller to azeron + mouse Transitioning from xbox controller to azeron + mouse

I am a little bit lost. I am used to playing with xbox style controllers. And for third-person games, I will probably still do it. But obviously for FPS and similar MK is the way. My problem is that I don't really like moving with wasd, so I would like a joystick for my left hand and a mouse to my right hand. I understand that with azeron this is possible.

What I am not sure is how does it exactly work? The joystick is kind of a D-pad? Is it fully analog as a controller joystick? The compatibility depends on the game? It will be plug and play.

I tried, for example, using a mouse and the left side of the controller simultaneously, and in a lot of games it's not possible.

DPI switch on Azeron Software DPI switch on Azeron Software

I've been using the Cryo and I absolutely love this thing. Does anyone know if in the Azeron software I can bind a dpi switch? I know that you can bind a button to move the DPI up or down. I would really like to have a button that lowers it while I am holding the button but goes back to normal when I release it. If anyone has a way let me know. I do own reWASD and I see that suggested often but it is flagged by too many anti-cheats.

The transition period from a traditional mouse isn't bad but I have lost the ability to do minute adjustments with my fingers and aiming is all wrist and elbow now. This DPI switch would really help with hitting those long shots.

Azeron for massive hands? Casual gamer Azeron for massive hands? Casual gamer

Hello, I'm a very casual gamer, currently playing Arc Raiders but I really struggle with key presses on a keyboard, mainly because of my huge hands. I can play with a PS dualsense no problem but I prefer aiming with the mouse so I was thinking an Azeron might be the answer for my left hand. I've tried a Razor tarturus but it was way too small for my hands and the thumbstick turned out to be a simple d-pad which was far from ok for movement. The whole thing felt really cheap to be honest.
I didn't go for an Azeron to start with because of the price, but now I'm thinking it is probably what I need.

How adjustable are they? to cater for big hands..
I've seen videos but they can be deceptive.

I like the look of the Cyborg 2 with the keys above fingers and the side keys.

Many thanks,

Good morning,

Just got a Cyborg 2 and working on adjusting it. Do you typically keep your fingertip resting on the push button deep in the well? I find my fingertips want to naturally rest on the edge of the bottom keys in the well (ones where fingerpads naturally would be) and then I "reach" for the push button (center one in the well, sorry for incorrect terminology). I'm sure adjustments will come down to personal preference, but want to establish the correct muscle memory first.

Thanks for any help!

Cyborg II thumbstick cap Cyborg II thumbstick cap

I got my cyborg II today, and I went to remove the thumbstick cap per Azeron's getting started video. I was going to install the restrictor ring. The video showed a person pulling the cap off easily, but when I tried, it feel like the whole thumbstick mechanism started to pull out a bit, and the cap didn't budge. I immediately abandoned that project, haha. Is the cap supposed to come off pretty easily? Is there a trick I am missing? Thanks!

I am looking at getting one of the Azeroth Hand Keyboards. I am leaning towards the Cyborg 2. But I can only raise my ring finger with my middle finger. I am hoping im not the only person that has this issue lol. Will this mess up using one and should I even get one? Or will there be a specific one that will work with me not able to lift my ring finger. Please let me know what you all think. Thank you for the support!

Can't jump from the fortnite battle bus Can't jump from the fortnite battle bus

Ok, this is driving me nuts. Everything else works fine but I cannot jump from the battle bus. I even re-assigned the azeron key I use for jump to "spacebar" so that when it says "press space bar to jump from the bus" I am hitting "space bar". There is no key that allows me to get out of that bus. I even hit space bar on the keyboard and nothing happens.

So I just end up falling out of the bus at the end of the map with apparently the other ten players this happens to....

If you've run into this and found a fix please share!

PSA: Do Not Sleep On Setup Adjustments PSA: Do Not Sleep On Setup Adjustments

I bought an Azeron from eBay over two years ago and accidentally put it in storage when I moved. The seller said it just didn't feel right and it was not for him. 2 weeks ago I finally got it out of storage and decided to try it out. He was right it just didn't feel right. I noticed it had an elevation plate on it and I decided to take it off, it felt a little better. He also had a curved palm rest on it and I switched it out for the flat one. Still not quite right. I put the elevation plate back on it and now it feels great. Now I'm just making little tweaks here and there as I play and get used to it. For all the newcomers like me be sure to make your adjustments. It really does make a difference.

Cyborg triggering task view on windows randomly. Cyborg triggering task view on windows randomly.

I’ve got a bug or issue where task view will randomly pop up when desktop is sitting idle or I hit the start button on my task bar. It only happens while my cyborg II is plugged in and it will stop for a couple days if I reinstall latest firmware in the Azeron software.

Not too keen on having to reinstall firmware constantly to use my Cyborg, especially with the pop up that says if something interrupts the install, it can cause the keypad to become damaged.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and have solutions?

Azeron Cyro shocking quality Azeron Cyro shocking quality

Hey guys,

i have bought a azeron cyro in May this year for my disabled uncle (he is only able to use his left arm/side), so the cyro as a mix of a keyboard and mouse seemed amazing. We really like the concept and the functions but:

After 6 Month the rubber pads are getting loose and also the strap got loose.

So i went for a mail to the Support and got an answer like:

Wear and tear you can glue it yourself back onto the mouse and u can order new pads here "insert link".

WTF guys, even a 50€ mouse isn't having any issues after years of use. I mean the cyro cost close to 300€ including shipping.

Anyone experience the same?

Keyzen: A Long-Winded Review By a 12 Year User of The Tarweaver RGB Pro V2 Keyzen: A Long-Winded Review By a 12 Year User of The Tarweaver RGB Pro V2

Skip to --- to avoid the rambling set up.

I've been a gamer for a long time. I grew up in the before times in the era where every console had a different kind of controller that you had to get used to and they didn't just default to Xbox style (asymmetrical sticks) or Playstation style (symmetrical sticks). So getting used to different layout or styles has never been an issue with me. Even today, I own many different input devices for gaming that I use for different things. I have a KK3 Max, 8BitDo Pro 3, Steam Controller (which I love), Fightstick, Flight Stick, a variety of retro recreation or original controllers for old systems when I want to emulate, MMO Mouse, Keyboard, and (currently) the Tartarus V2.

When I made the complete jump from console gaming to PC gaming in 2012ish, I immediately went on the hunt for an alternative to keyboard for games that were not controller friendly. Why? Because keyboard sucks. They are amazing for typing since they were designed for that purpose and modeled after the typewriter, but as games got more complicated and we moved beyond 2 handed keyboard gaming and using the arrow keys for movement, it became less enjoyable to use and began to show it wasn't designed for this. The mouse, on the other hand, is fantastic for how games have evolved because it was designed for navigating GUI and 3D environments.

I eventually came across the Razer Tartarus. It was what I was looking for. They bought the design off of Belkin and it was the best version of a gaming keypad available. It formed to your hand for comfort, the keys had a better layout, and your thumb was put to use with multiple buttons (I always take the cap off the stick and use it as a 4 way button) and your hand would wrap around it comfortably. And after combining this with a MMO Mouse with an array of side buttons (Logitech G600 for years until it was discontinued and now the Razer equivalent), this combo has brought me many years of PC gaming enjoyment. I have had every version of Razer's gaming keypads since then.

BUT.. I hate Razer. I didn't like them or their products before this and I liked them even less when I had to deal with their QC on their products and their software. And it didn't help that the only innovation Razer did with this product since they bought this original 2005 Belkin design was to add another row of keys, RGB lighting, a sleeved cable and key switches (eventually). I was always on the hunt for something that had a good palm rest and buttons on the side for the thumb get me away from this.

That's when I came across a wood prototype of a gaming keypad and eventually in 2017, the first Azeron. Unfortunately, while I thought the design was great and exactly what I was looking for, it had finger paddles instead of keyboard keys. I like WASD movement in a lot of games, so it wasn't for me. Not to mention, I felt like I would constantly be accidently clicking since I don't have an extremely steady hand. I would continue to check in on Azeron saying to myself, "If they make an actual key switch pad, I will buy it day one." So I moved on, even considered modifying a Dactyl Manuform Ergo 3D print design and just using one half for a gaming key pad.

Fast forward, about a month ago, I caught a review video for the Cyborg 2, then was recommended a Keyzen video from Azeron immediately afterwards from 3 months ago. My mind was blown. This is what I wanted. While I didn't buy it day 1 upon discovering it, I bought it day 2.

-----------------

So as for the review of the Keyzen.

The Pros:

Its a better version of the Tartarus in almost everywhere made by a company that seems to actually care about their products. The joystick is great and you can adjust the tension. The retrictor ring is a great addition especially in WASD mode. They give you both a flat and curved wrist rest. The key positioning is mostly good with how they form an angled arch. And the software is surprisingly good with plenty of customization. As someone with countless hours on the Tartarus/Orbweaver over the years, this is everything I wanted and more.

The Critique:

First off, I bought this with every intention to use it like how I have always used the Tartarus/Orbweaver: WASD on the Keypad and the Thumb module for additional buttons including using the joystick for 1,2,3,4 or something similar. With that being said, I decided to use it AS INTENDED by Azeron for a while to see how I like using the joystick for movement and the keys for different buttons.

One of the major issues with the Keyzen is the height of the keys. My hand is technically 1cm shorter than suggested, but still. The keypad would be infinitely better if it was either raised a couple MMs or raised and angled. This is a common complaint for a reason. Despite being DSA, there is still travel which effectively makes them even lower than they seem and at the OEM height, its uncomfortable. A lot of people complain about not being able to hit the middle top key. Personally I can hit it mostly. The funny thing is the hardest key for me was the middle finger row, second key from the top. That is so recessed in, it makes me wonder how long are the middle fingers there at Azeron. Now, all this can be resolved by community solutions. There are angled risers on the discord that people in the community made in various sizes. OR, you can put motherboard standoffs to just increase the height even though I question the stability and wear and tear they might cause going forward. Personally, I went with the 3D printed angle risers. I got a set of 4 in all the sizes to test out. I settled with the 2mms for now. If there is ever a V2 of this, I hope Azeron understands that this isn't a Cyborg and includes some more customization pieces like these risers. They do make a world of difference to the overall feel and usability.

For the thumb cluster, there are a couple issues I have with it due to the nature of this device using keys instead of flaps. The module with the stick should have some additional position customization. Because of the use of keys, you kind of want to be able to bring it in more, but the rails on the index finger section interferes. I almost want to be able to slide it in more towards me. On the cyborg, its probably fine, but the Keyzen has much more travel distance to press the keys on the pad. As for the 2 thumb keys, they need to just redesign them. Either make them like the Cyborg flaps or redesign the connection to be able to bring them closer in and probably keep them on the y axis like it ships to you but with more adjustments.

On to the key switches. I forgot how much I disliked cherry switches until I got this in the mail. I get that its partly a snob thing, but they don't feel great. I know some people have suggested better switches, but I hope in a future V2, they just make them hotswappable and give an option to purchase it bare, without switches so you can just put your own in. This is an enthusiast product, so I'd like to have that option. Since I know a possible V2 is years off, there is a definite possibility that I will eventually disassemble and desolder these switches and solder in my own. No clue how that will go since I haven't disassembled the finger rails and don't know how it looks.

HOMING KEYS. They really should have at least included some if you wanted to use them. I never really thought this would be a problem, but I found myself getting a bit lost at times since your fingers are moving around a bit more than when you are always anchored on WASD. So maybe as an end user, consider putting some DSA homing keys on it you already have or buy some nice ones on Etsy.

Using It:

Finally, lets talk about using it. I used it as Azeron intended on Cyberpunk which I hadn't gotten around to playing until now paired with my MMO mouse. WASD movement on the stick was very good and easy. BUT, try as I might, pressing the keys while using the stick was not fun during any action part. I think the major issue is finger travel. I was constantly mispressing or shifting because my thumb was moving around. It might just be the case that I'm so used to WASD on the Tartarus and if I just gave it a couple more weeks, but I don't think so. Maybe if my hand was much larger than Azerons suggested limit or if I could bring the stick module closer, it would be better. I can definitely see how this wouldn't be an issue with the Cyborg because your fingers are locked in and stationary and you are mostly flicking. But these are keys that need to be pressed and traveled to. So.. I gave up the ghost.

So what did I do next? I decided to use it as I intended when I bought it and on Cyberpunk and paired with my MMO mouse. Mapped WASD to keys #6,10,15, and 9 on the keypad. Changed the stick to 1,2,3,4 because thats what I usually do. Adjusted in the software the detection cone and sensitivity. Spent another hour figuring out how I was going to map everything for it makes sense for future games as well. Sat down to play Cyberpunk again. Night and day. Everything felt right. My fingers anchored to wasd and my thumb rest on the space between the 4 way switch and the thumb stick. Being that my thumb wasn't tethered to the stick, hitting keys on the pads was so much smoother. The curve of the key rails made more sense. Key travel felt shorter, require less movement and my fingers didn't get lost because they were always anchored. And the other upside is that your thumb has access to more things. They say that using the thumb for movement frees your fingers, but they don't tell you that it also locks up your thumb to the stick and everything else on the module is rarely used. Now my thumb can use at least 12 input button between the stick, the switch and the 2 keys, which is double what my thumb gets using the Tartarus.

In conclusion:

If you planning on using the stick for movement and that is the driving urge to buy the Keyzen, then consider getting the Cyborg instead. The Keyzen can definitely do that and you might like it, but you'll find yourself being left wanting. You might need to get those 3D risers or spend a lot of time getting used to it. If you have larger hands than their recommended, then it might be more comfortable for key travel. I think the Cyborg is just better designed for that purpose. The Keyzen might need a V2 and given a bit more time to cook with the design.

If you planning on getting this as a WASD gaming keypad, then get it. While it does have issues, it is significantly better than what Razer has. If you already have a Razer and looking to get out, then get this. I still recommend getting the risers 3d printed, but this is a full upgrade from the Tartarus.

Despite everything I said, I'm happy with what I spent my money on and using it as I was planning on. If I heard there were going to discontinue it for whatever reason, but still support it in software, I'd buy 2 more just in case. I really hope Azeron lets this idea bake more with a V2 because it is a good product.

my controller config for keyzen. my controller config for keyzen.

so its pretty nice that you can fit the controls for a controller such as xbox onto such a small amount of keys. a row for buttons and a row for bumpers and triggers. so much spare room i put media control keys and for certain games that normally would use the other joystick for zooming in and out that use PC controls as well i just used mouse wheel up and down for that function.(example would be diablo 4) frankly i just wish i could find a way to make it so i could do 2 joysticks on the one hand and it'd be perfect hahaha.

just curious what other people are using for configs. so thought id share mine. i like the close row so my fingers dont need to travel much.

Thumbstick as mousewheel Help pls! Thumbstick as mousewheel Help pls!

I bought an Azeron Cyro and after using it for a week for desktop use, internet and casual gaming I'm very pleased with it. The handposition just feels great.

The only thing that doesn't work correctly for me is the option to use the thumb stick (analog stick) as a mousewheel.

In the manual it is stated that the scroll speed will increase with how far you will push the stick forward or backward. But for me the scroll speed is fixed on one (slow) speed no matter how far i move the stick. Exept if I "wiggle" the thumb stick backwards left and right. Then the scrollspeed jumps to a very fast fixed value.

Anyone having the same problem? Is this a known issue or does it work fine for others?

i already tried some troubleshooting like updates, windows settings and reinstalling.

thanks for your opinion / help

Cyborg for First Person Shooters Cyborg for First Person Shooters

Going to make a really long story short here: I recently turned 40 and was a hardcore gamer in high school and early college. I played games like Medal of Honor and the first couple of Call of Duty games then stopped playing competitive FPS for like 20 years. Started over with Counter-Strike 2 last year.

My hands aren't as fast or durable as they used to be. I found myself hitting WASD too hard, especially W with my middle finger. While I try to be more gentle, it's hard to not drive my left middle finger into keyboard, which eventually hurts. In addition, I'm just not all that fast to hit the crouch or sprint buttons anymore.

For someone like myself, does the Cyborg have a lower actuation pressure and shorter movements? I've seen several videos and the overall movements seem rather minimal, which would be a good thing for finger fatigue.

Another Q: Does anyone customize some key presents to use the finger buttons for movement instead of the joystick? I honestly don't know if I'd get used to a joystick for general movement. I would, however, love to dive, crouch and pull out various weapons faster with other key fingers.

Third question: Does the Keyzen have a higher acutation force?

cyborg II with mac or linux? cyborg II with mac or linux?

A friend of mine got one of these and it looked cool. Browsing reddit, it looked to me like the Cyborg would work as a keyboard on MacOS or Linux, but the configuration software was Windows-only. But also there was a newer Cyborg 2 model, and I didn't think to check whether that would be different.

Unfortunately, it looks like it is. Neither Mac nor Linux systems see it at all. It shows up on my friend's Windows machine and I can make configuration changes there, but when it's plugged into the other computers, they don't see a device at all. Linux kernel says this when I plug it in:

I have no idea what, if anything, to do here. Azeron support is disinterested, saying only that if it works with Windows it's fine. I... guess?

Alternatively, does anyone have details on what it's running and how to load new firmware? I've built QMK for things before and this seems like the kind of thing that keyboard firmware is for. I don't really care at all about their fancy software, if I can set it up and use it as a keyboard.

Idea for mapping layer shift and button press into one key press Idea for mapping layer shift and button press into one key press

I want a setup where switching weapons also changes the key behavior.

When I press 1, it selects Weapon 1 and uses Layer 1 — where W moves forward normally.

When I press 2, it selects Weapon 2 and switches to Layer 2 — where W + Shift acts as forward.

Basically:

Key 1 → Weapon 1 + Layer 1 (Forward = W)

Key 2 → Weapon 2 + Layer 2 (Forward = Shift+W)

Does anybody know if this can be done?

new keycaps for keyzen. finally gonna get to test drive it. new keycaps for keyzen. finally gonna get to test drive it.

so i ordered it last weekend. took the weekend to arrive which was fast asf considering it went from europe to the west coast. first thing i noticed was the farthest keys were a bit of a stretch even with the shortest setting on the rails. so ordered some keycaps that were taller while i was working this week as well as some that have directional slants to them so i can know more intuitively which row im on by the slant of certain keys. thinking of expanding on this and making my own keycaps with my 3d printer to give slants for certain rows and then tactile markers for different columns. but for now this is what im using. thinking of recording or streaming some of my usage with it. i have gone through 3 razer tartarus v2's and have a azeron cyro (left handed) so im excited to try my keyzen in games like ff14, apex, fortnite, diablo 4, etc. thought id show off my new keycaps though.

Wild Capuchins vs. Pet Monkeys: The Reality Behind the ‘Cute’ Videos

All non-human primates (NHP) are wild. Period.

Doesn't matter if they were "bred" in unethical pet monkey businesses, all primates retain 100% their natural wild instincts.

Just remember, when you watch 'cute' videos of monkeys online, they were brutalized to make them tame and behave in these ways.

Azeron with analog as mouse/joystick instead of WASD keys? Azeron with analog as mouse/joystick instead of WASD keys?

Hmm, so I've perhaps a niche use; I'd like to use the analog stick (all the products seem to have one), not as keyboard inputs, but as a mouse/joystick. Primary reason, is to allow varying speeds, i.e. constant mouse movement with a 'speed' from 0-100, vs just two speeds 0 then 100.

Anyone know if the analog stick recognizes both the direction (360 degrees where it is pointing), and also how far from center in that direction it is? i.e. if it behaves like a joystick, or is 360 keys in disguise?

The goal is to use the keys as WASD, and then the analog thingy to provide constant input at varying speeds. This is all assuming I can find software that can remap the analog if needed to act like a mouse.

I tried the Razer Tartarus Pro, but didn't understand that the analog stick was really just an 8 way switch, and was wondering if Azeron works differently.

Software Idea / question Software Idea / question

Wouldn't it be a nice idea to give the thumbstick in WASD Mode the Option to 'add' a Sprint Input automatically while being forward and over a specific threshold? Pushing the thumbstick forward for lets say 40% of the way makes you walk (W), while pushing it 50% of the way makes you Sprint (W+Shift). You could even make the percentage adjustable or give every of the 8 directions a bonus featured Button Press. So you free up even more buttons / actions. What do you guys think about this?

new azeron keyzen excited to test drive. new azeron keyzen excited to test drive.

ordered a azeron keyzen. ive used alot of gamepads over the past couple years, went through 2 or 3 razer tartarus v2's. i have an azeron cyro which has a mouse built into it. and now this keyzen. hopefully this one works for a long time. it feels more durable then i thought it would to be honest. metal base plate and armatures. 3d printed parts almost feel like they used a carbon fiber filament. the cyro i have has a metal plate but the printed parts are def ABS or PETG. this has interchangable keycaps like a keyboard so if i wannt custmor mor i can. i already know i will likely adjust a few more things about it but excited.

the plate it came with that magnetizes it i put under the couch arm cover to keep it in place and then i can just pull the keyzen on and off as i want and itll magnetize to the same spot

The rails on the Keyzen are too long. Any options? The rails on the Keyzen are too long. Any options?

So I bought a Keyzen recently and I really like it. However, I just can not make it fit properly. My hand is pretty much exactly 20.5cm/8in from wrist to middle finger tip, so not gigantic but not small either. With the curved palm rest, the way my hand falls naturally and rests comfortably, my fingers rest on the far end of the second row from the bottom, with the rails slammed all the way back. This really isn't optimal because I really need to stretch and move my hand forwards a bit to reach the top rows. To make my fingers rest on the middle row I need to push my hand forwards on the palm rest, but in that position my thenar is not supported anymore so I need to use my arm to hold the hand in place which gets tiring very very fast. Also in that position the thumbstick rail is actually a bit short, but maybe I just have very long thumbs.

I don't really understand why the rails have to be so far out. There's like 3cm of wasted space between the base and where the towers start so the rails could easily be 1cm shorter.

I'm thinking of returning it because of that. It's a great device otherwise, and I really don't like clicky mouse buttons so I don't think the cyborg would be right for me. Are there shorter rails or a longer palm rest for these devices that I could try?

Edit: Well this was kind of a rubberducking moment for me. As soon as I finished this post I had the brilliant idea to just remove the lower/inward screws on the bottom and push the towers further inward. Not perfect but I guess it's a fine-for-now bandaid fix until I shorter rails are made possible. Kind of embarrassed that I didn't think of this a bit sooner.

Has this happened to anybody else? I tried to contact fedex support but I was only able to talk to bots and it gave me a case number and it said I will be contacted later.

This is super frustrating considering I paid over $300 for this product. How could FedEx be this incompetent?

The mapper will require setting all keys to joystick keys and set the joystick to analog mode.

I am needing the following details for other models:

Left hand is cramping like crazy now do to my job and aging. keyboard cramps like crazy even numbing hand.Ordered directly from Azerog the Cyborg 2 with discount color (Red) and coupon code. Very excited to get my hand on this and reinvigotate gaming to what it used to be and most definitely improve.

Edit Arrived October 13th. adjusting as I go. making a profile that is universal. great so far thought the joystick was faulty but its reading correct now.

Keyzen Mapping Questions Keyzen Mapping Questions

I'm coming from a Razer Tartarus, but the way I use it might be atypical and I'm hoping to do similar with the Keyzen and it's unclear if I will be able to.

The way I use the Tartarus is as if it was a typical WASD keyboard, with the D-pad being used for other remapped inputs (typically item/weapon switching) and the button right above the D-pad usually being mapped to space/jump. This keeps relatively familiar muscle memory for a traditional keyboard intact for me.

With the Keyzen, it seems unclear if my thumb will be able to do the same things as before. There's a similar input above the joystick, but what is that? Is it a single button, or a directional input? Is that particular button comfy to use for this purpose?

And for the joystick, it seems advertised that it can operate in a WASD mode, but can I remap that to be entirely different keys? Or at least arrow keys?

I basically have no plans to use the joystick for movement, I'd rather it'd be a D-pad or cluster of buttons for my thumb. But since that's not the case, I'm wondering if I can still use it how I intend or not. I do essentially just want a better Tartarus without Razer's software lol

I need help with a decision about cyborg 2 I need help with a decision about cyborg 2

I have wanted to get a cyborg 2 for a while now and finally have saved up enough+extra to get one

after customizing it i went to checkout and i was expecting shipping to be steep but then i saw the tariffs as well together it slapped on about 80 dollars adding up to over 300 for a fully basic cyborg and it is really making me reconsider

should i just say screw it and go ahead or wait for a better time to buy it

EDIT: I bought it

how do you all use this thing? how do you all use this thing?

i bought the cyborg 2 years ago, i thought it was a great idea. but i cant get any game i like to play to work with the thing.
nearly all games i play will not let me use the anolog joycon with keyboard shortcuts. the moment i touch the joycon the keyboard shortcuts wont work. and the moment i use a keybind i suddenly cant move.

all games i have tried other than ffxiv refuse to use hybrid controls. how on earth do you manage it?

ps: i know about wasd binding, but then i might as well use the keyboard

Edit: thanks, i realize now my thinking on this was a bit wonky. even if im stuck with wasd it still frees up 4 fingers for ability pressing

Thumbstick randomly holds left forever Thumbstick randomly holds left forever

Hi just couldn't find anything definitive online so thought I'd try here
My 6 month old Azeron Cyborg II has been randomly deciding that it's stuck holding left on and off the past couple days,
Now it's just stuck there (software only) so I've had to unbind left for now...
I've tried calibration but it chastises me for moving the stick around when I'm not
Really hoping this is an easy enough fix! 💦

EDIT: thanks to Thomwithah and a video on how the wires work, I was able to do surgery on it (and cut down the insulation on the wires a little bit) and it appears to not be stuck anymore! Hopefully it stays that way - I hope anyone else with this problem can find this useful at least 🙏

What's your setup for games that use 6 degrees of freedom? What's your setup for games that use 6 degrees of freedom?

Been playing some Jump Space, Strike Vector EX and Elite Dangerous and wonder how other users configure their controllers to fully utilize the 6DF and the ton of buttons these type of games require. Also planning on playing Desecrators.

I usually use both Cyborg 2 and Cyro but for Jump Space the game sorta stutters with dual input so I have right cyro stick be inverted mouse input. Ground combat I use my mouse. I also hate how NMS can't do dual inputs.

For JS and ED I use the left stick wasd for throttle/break and Left/right. But for flight sim games like Ace Combat I prefer joystick input and using index/middle finger paddles for Throttle/Break, holdover from me using triggers on xbox360 controllers.
