In May, 2015, I travelled to Da Nang, a popular tourist destination along the coast of central Vietnam.
But none of the tourist attractions left a stronger impression on me than the Han Market in Da Nang.
You will see many store owners napping before the market opens.
Businesses start at around 4pm. Shortly after, the market would already be packed with people. You can find anything in the market, including women’s underwear.
Meanwhile, kids find their own entertainment.
Tourists tend to take pictures of famous landmarks, but they often miss the people and things happening around them. But I love taking street snapshots because there is a lot more depth to people and their everyday lives than scenery.
