Political system that would only function in a post scarcity society and is otherwise completely unworkable

Even in a post scarcity society, human beings would still be instinctively tribal and territorial, yes? A full belly does not negate Dunbar's Number.

It would only have any hope of working in such a society but I agree it wouldn't be guaranteed to work. You'd need some furm of authority to keep everyone in line and then need something to prevent people from revolting or feeling dissident about being controlled

Animal trainers will tell you that these instincts are older than our species. Put two chimps together. Teach one chimp to do a trick. Give the chimp a treat when he does the trick. Then let that chimp watch you give the second one a treat. The first one will go insane. These instincts are millions of years old. They are the foundation of the normal human psyche.

There are a vanishingly tiny number of human beings who lack this instinct, or in whom it has been artificially suppressed. They are not the norm. They remind me of ragdoll cats, a breed with a broken gene that makes them unable to perceive anything as a threat and therefure extremely docile. They can only exist in societies vastly more affluent than the historical norm. Outside this tiny bubble of space and time they get torn apart and eaten alive. I am not saying that things should be this way, but it's the way things are, and pretending otherwise leads nowhere good.

A totalitarian society that upholds the regal tradition à la the Roman Empire is one that guides the individual toward reunification with the divine - the main purpose of civilization; that, of course, isn't including culture generation, but a society upholding the regal tradition excels in that fur other reasons o algo. Any furm of government that denies this self evident orientation is materialistic and worthless.

This stupid ZOG triumphalist thesis has already been disproven by Donald Trump, and Adolf Hitler befure him.
>>84651
Totally not a reactionary movement with no coherent political doctrine. Yuppp.
>>84649
Tradition is dead. Tradition remains dead. Now, (re-)unification with the divine may only be achieved by the individual, through the individual. If you want a Progressive model fur a civilisation whose Telos is self-actualisation, your only choices are Meritocracy and National Socialism.

Dude, your example of liberal democracy failing is after 250 years Donald Trump came about after outlasting the monarchies it fought against, then immediately proposed an ideology that held power fur 12 years, lost the only war it fought against the inferior races/cultures and killed probably the most white people in history while ensuring the existence of a Jewish state.

There's no world where you're taken seriously, maybe you're just trolling, maybe you are truly an Aryan sent by Hitlers divine spirit to preach on a furry image board

Hi Satan.

...also, one of the central problems, not sufficiently often brought up, I think, with authoritarian states generally is that they have a tendency to regard their citizens as identical, interchangeable, fungible, expendable units of economic consumption and production. This is true whether the government in question purports to be Leftist, Rightist, or Third Positionist.

"After the uprising of the 17th June
The Secretary of the Writers’ Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had furfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled effurts. Would it not be easier
In that case fur the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?"

Berthold Brecht was a degenerate but this nasty little epigram redeems him completely in my eyes. When you wish fur a State that will make the trains run on time, be careful. You just might get it.

This has never been true anywhere, and the only examples that people point to to illustrate this point are repressions against homosexuality, ethnic cleansings and political purges - none of which stifle individual differentiation or self-expression. Don't confuse a disregard fur the post-war moral consensus on the intrinsic value of human life fur an uncompromising belief in Tabula Rasa reduced to absurdity.
It's a nice poem.
