I'd be willing to support you guys every step of the way, but that is only if you really try to turn over a new leaf. Meaning I have to see it to believe it and I'm sure many others feel that way too.
I should remind you, you and many other staff members have a lot to answer for. You didn't just ostritize people. You bullied them, put them down at every opportunity. That's not going into any specifics either. Worst of all you got some sick pleasure out of doing it too. Outside your community basically no one has anything good to say about you either. Most people you didn't directly affect don't want anything to do with you and your nasty attitude including other TASers.

Note this is not about users who were banned for behavioral problems. Moderation does what moderation must.
Like it or not you'll have to review these cases as well because I have firsthand experience with how you moderate things. Okay I admit I myself have made some mistakes I'm not particularly proud of, but good god you guys are, if anything, worse. Every time I tried to resolve something all you did was throw baseless accusations at me. You never once thought to sit down and calmly work things out with people. Oh and I am very well aware of your shadowbans too.
So answer me this. Are you truly willing to make peace with your own community, or is this thread just for show? Are you guys really willing to stop with the needless cruelty and thrive for a much healthier community?
[quote="EDIT: I really hoped I didn't need to state this, but we still will be banning people if they misbehave. This is not a thread for venting about moderation.[/quote]
Then what is this thread for if not venting about moderation? Are you people not going to take accountability for all the people you’ve hurt over the years? You have no right to silence people like that. I want everyone’s voice to be heard so that this madness can truly end.
If you’re going to make an apology thread like this, you need to follow through to the end. You need to make an effort to mend things people. Do not stray from the path of redemption.
@TheAnonymousReaper
What are you talking about? Could you elaborate?
I see you’re kinda new here so I will elaborate.
I don’t know everything, but I do know enough to get the full picture.
During the irc days for example Samsara, Spikestuff, and Masterjun used to bully other users.
A somewhat more recent incident is that spikestuff purposefully made a low quality encode of one of Happylee’s tases. Speaking of spikestuff they got booted from staff not even a year ago. They tormented users for many years and only now they got booted.
Did you know samsara got banned once for her nasty attitude towards a staff member. I’m pretty sure I saw the post where that happened. Don’t be fooled by the fact that she’s a site admin, she hasn’t really changed because last I saw her, she banned a user for criticizing the staff, and not for that users actual offensives. In fact she used that to try and justify the ban and she even mocked him as she did it and said “goodnight my sweet prince”
Memory, while I can’t think of any specific examples is from what I’ve heard also a piece of work.
Whenever things don’t go their way they just ban you. Some bans are justified yes, but they tend to also ban you when things don’t go their way. In fact trying to have a civil discussion with them sometimes just turns into a chaotic mess.
I’ll give you one bit of advice. Be wary of the staff here, because so far I’m not convinced they want to treat people better. If they try to deny anything here then be very wary. Currently I feel like I’m the one looking after you guys more than they are.
OK I've seen enough to believe this is an alt of OtakuTAS, transphobe who claimed to have a fake ex girlfriend and got really upset that he couldn't snipe ShesChardcore's (at the time) final tas from being published lol.
[16:36:31] <Mothrayas> I have to say this argument about robot drug usage is a lot more fun than whatever else we have been doing in the past two+ hours
[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero
Per this post, we discovered the user was in fact kaan55.
