I know this has been talked about since ruin because of how similar their endo skeletons are but with how much sun/moon imagery we got in this new game I feel like theres something more there.

Could Fazbear of tried to make their own mimic, learning from the mistakes in the past (but also being lazy and cheap) they added a ‘fix’ that it would copy certain behaviours during the day and only copy others at night?

the virus could of already been in the mimic code or something bad happened to the animatronic and it ‘rebuilt itself’ like how we see the mimic do in parachute.xcx, its calmed by the story in the good ending and turns in to ‘David’ when soothed, maybe when something similar happened it found balance.

the split of personalities would of already been there but maybe sun was originally meant to play with children and moon was originally made to watch over naps or younger kids?
