The Steamdeck has an AMD APU, it doesn't have a seperate GPU to wake up, so everything works simpler and better there.

If you have NVIDIA, you have to run extra services, that come with its driver, to make sleep possible and it has some experimental power management kernel commandline options.
I would never expect nvidia to wake up properly. No matter the OS.
