活動が虚しくなる時もあるけれど、何処にも頼れない後輩たちから連絡を貰ったり、先輩から励ましのメッセージをいただいたりするたびに頑張ろうと思える。
私が活動してもどうにもならないかもしれない。
けど、無意味ではないと思う。
小さな声でも上げて未来に託すことが大切。
何かに繋がるはずだから。
おかしいと思ったことを見て見ぬふりしない。
全ての人が取りこぼされることなく人権が守られるまで、私は黙らない。
表面上だけの自由なんて無意味だ。

I was featured in AERA magazine.
There are times when my efforts feel in vain,
but whenever I receive messages from younger peers who have no one else to turn to,
or words of encouragement from seniors,
I’m reminded to keep going.
Maybe my actions alone won’t change anything.
But I don’t believe they’re meaningless.
Even a small voice matters —
what’s important is to speak up and entrust our hopes to the future.
Because it will lead to something.
I refuse to look the other way when something feels wrong.
Until the day everyone’s human rights are protected — without anyone being left behind —
I will not be silent.
Freedom that only exists on the surface is meaningless.
