Strike V2 Public Testnet
The Strike V2 public testnet is now live, with the core protocol deployed and available for public testing. This release marks a major milestone in the evolution of Strike as we transition to a next-generation perpetuals platform designed for speed, capital efficiency, and extensibility.
This phase allows traders to stress-test the system, explore advanced trading functionality, and provide feedback as we prepare for mainnet.
Our development process is security-first and performance-driven. Public testnet is a critical step in validating the system under real usage before mainnet deployment.
Strike V2 Architecture
Strike V2 is built from the ground up as a high-performance perpetuals exchange, combining offchain infrastructure with onchain settlement to achieve speed without sacrificing transparency.
At the core of V2 is an offchain order matching engine paired with onchain risk management and settlement. This design enables sub-millisecond order confirmation while preserving deterministic execution and verifiability onchain.
Key Architectural Features
Offchain order matching for lightning-fast execution
CLOB-based perpetuals for precise price discovery and deep liquidity
Sub-millisecond order confirmation comparable to centralized venues
Fast cross-chain deposits, reducing friction for capital onboarding
Cross margin to maximize capital efficiency across positions
Extremely low fees, optimized for active and professional traders
Strike V2 supports a full suite of advanced order types, including:
Adding margin to existing positions
Limit close orders
Flexible position management across markets
The system is designed to support any asset, enabling rapid market expansion without architectural constraints.
Security and Reviews
Security is a top priority for Strike V2.
During the testnet phase, we are conducting:
Ongoing security reviews
Code refactoring
Performance optimizations across the stack
Independent audits are planned prior to mainnet launch, and we are committed to publishing audit results once complete.
In addition, Strike V2 will open source its core trading engines. This is a major commitment to transparency and verifiability, and a first in the perpetuals space. Even leading platforms in the industry have not open sourced this layer.
Road to Mainnet
The public testnet is the foundation for the final phase of development. Over the coming weeks, we will be focused on the following initiatives:
Protocol & Infrastructure
Improving the market making bot
Building a robust insurance fund
Implementing an auto-deleverage strategy
Delegating protocol funds to market makers
Creating composable vaults
Product & UX
Launching a leaderboard and stats overview page
Continuous UI/UX improvements based on user feedback
Developing a mobile app with intuitive, trader-friendly design
Social & Trading Features
Vaults that allow users to delegate funds to traders
Copy trading functionality
Expanded tooling for professional and collaborative trading strategies
Get Involved
We encourage traders to actively test the Strike V2 public testnet and explore its features. Feedback from real usage is essential as we refine performance, usability, and risk parameters ahead of mainnet.
Strike V2 represents a major step forward in decentralized perpetuals. We’re excited to build this next phase together with the community.
More details on participation, documentation, and next milestones will be shared soon.
