Binding day, then color. This was done with walnut stain followed by gunstock to pop the grain and bring in some orange. Next a tinted laquer (dark garnet red...which is a GM car laquer) then stencil the "f" holes and scrape binding. Scraping binding with a razor really kills your finhers. Put on about 12 coats of clear nitro after 3 days, which was just enough time for my fingers to stop tingling Ling from razor scraping the binding. ....good thing because next is the wet sanding cut and polish.

Friday was parts day and they fit like a glove. I was really conscious NOT to copy a Gretsch 100% but I wanted the vibe of Harrison's Gent. Plus I don't think they make one this size. Lower bout is 15.25 inches. Scale is 23.6 like a Byrdland with 11 guage. I was thinking Thomastic or Chromes, but my wife was really pissed on what I spent on the bigsby so I got Rounds.....if your curious about that scale, take a Gibson 24.75 scale and tune to E flat....slap a capo on the 1st fret and there you go. I debated awhile...do I want to go standard or shorter to match the guitar's smaller size. Then I stumbled across a thread on Gibson Byrdland and I thought...,hmmmm.

Welcome to the forum Jimmy—pleased to meet you!

I'll join the chorus asking for pics of your other builds.
In this pic there are a couple of my builds. The goldtop on the wall left is a Les Paul sized Casino type hollowbody with soapbars, the TVJR is a rebuild. Of course the mini Gent against the Vox next to the Ric 360. That 360 started life as a 330 which was trashed. Body was caved in and neck broke with no headstock. It was also autumnglo. I rescued from the woodpile and rebuilt as a fireglo 360/12. Neck is entirely new maple..walnut ..maple sandwich. There is a LP sized guitar on the rack behind the real LP that I am going to scrap for parts on the 6119 Jr....pots, caps, tuners...jack
