- ^ Used in the ISP and SEP in A12
- ^ Used in the GPU, SIO, PMP, SMC, AOP, AVE, and ANS in A12
- ^ The S1P and S2 has better performance due to it being dual-core, and the S3 has better performance due to the cores being clocked at 1 GHz instead of at 520 Mhz.

Speculation
For a small number of SoCs manufactured by Samsung after the release of the first TSMC developed chip, the T7000, we can guess what the S5L based codename would look like, given it's packaging name. For example, the APL0398 is known to be the S5L8930 (A4), and the APL5598, the S5L8955 (A6X). Thus, we simply reverse it's number part to get it's S5L name.
