BONDI BEACH SHOOTER ORIGINALLY FROM INDIA, MIGRATED TO AUSTRALIA IN 1998 - SUSPECTED ISIS INSPIRED
Indian police have confirmed that Sajid Akram, one of the two identified Bondi Beach attackers, was originally from Hyderabad and moved to Australia nearly three decades ago.
Akram, 50, reportedly carried out the Hanukkah massacre in Sydney with his 24-year-old son, Naveed, killing 15 people.
Investigators believe the pair were inspired by ISIS ideology.
Indian authorities say there’s no known connection between their radicalization and India, and no criminal record on Akram before he left in 1998.
Who radicalized them? And how did no one see this coming?
