I will not be participating in VirtuaBeats / VirtuaCon this weekend
I want to thank everyone I got to meet during the making of the concert- This was going to be my first time running an entire group concert, and I was really looking forward to letting all of my wonderful friends shine.
Unfortunately sometimes as creators we have the choice to power through uncertainty, or step away to protect our branding and image, and that is what had to happen today.
I will be doing my best with upcoming events and concerts that are run by myself and my own team and find a place for the wonderful singers I got to work with. Everyone deserves a chance to shine, and I am determined to make that happen for everyone that trusted me with their performances.
I would like to further note that I am not part of, or employed by, the VirtuaCon team and was asked to participate, just like every creator impacted. I took over the concert to help out a first time event and I know it can be difficult to get started.
Please support the creators that have stepped down from the event, we are always the most disappointed when efforts go to waste.
