Gatorade, Doritos, Cheetos, Lay's potato chips, Mountain Dew, Aquafina, and Pepsi in all its configurations ..... all these ultra-processed 'foods' produced by the Pepsi corporation, all bottled in plastic (yeah, yeah, I know we recycle 30% but that other 70% gets tossed into landfills and rural roadside ditches, sinking down into mud and weeds and preparing to exist until the sun dies) or in aluminum (which requires enormous amounts of energy to produce,) or sealed in plastic bags which will be unearthed almost intact by next millennium's archaeologists, could disappear from the planet tomorrow and the health and well-being of the planet and its humans would undoubtedly kick up a few notches.

All this ultra-processed 'food,' is conjured up by experts who study the effects of the optimum configurations of fat, salt, sugar, crunchiness, and bubbles, on the pleasure centers of the human brain, all with devilish intent of creating maximum addiction to their products. 'Narcoterrorists' are blown out of the water; our home-grown 'nutriterroists' get bonuses and profit from stock buybacks. We can talk about 'pharmaterrorists' at a later date.

All this, and mega-corporations conspire among themselves to lower prices so they can lure in more potential addicts. Good grief, it's like our neighborhood dealer handing out complementary packs of cocaine to get us hooked.
