I figured all of that about Shonda. I was confused as to how Olivia Pope could start off as being a confident, professional woman to a broken down hot mess. The only traumatizing thing she found out was her mother still being alive, but all that other craziness she knew and was thriving despite all of it. That character has made Kerry an "IT" girl and I could see Shonda wanting her name/face/reputation being the first (or only) that comes to mind when people say "Scandal" instead of Kerry

Chile, we were debating about that a few months ago on the Scandal section! It's so obvious that she has an axe to grind about Kerry; why else would you take a brilliant black main character and reduce her to a simping bird-ass side character? I cringe to think what last season would have been like like Kerry not been pregnant.

All the black actresses in Hollywood generally go for the same role. So it's like they're all literally competing for the same jobs...

Nia is very picky and likes what she likes...she's not afraid to say it or take control. A lot of ppl don't like working with her...I remember her walking out on a photo set (the pic you see on the cover of Jet which was the ONLY good pic from that shoot) crying then us having to resched the shoot with a different photog...which went pretty well...she's never talked to me crazy but I've witnessed her talking to others crazy...and her cussing out her nanny...

I will say I feel like she may be that way because as a black woman In Hollywood people try to cut corners and half ass your shyt. Nia just complains about stuff IMO should be given off top. She's been in the game long and I feel like from being around the people I am around she still doesn't get te respect she deserves. Maybe from US black peple but not Hollywood as a whole....she's trying to get her image to be more mainstream but that didn't work out to well obviously...

I remember for the bet awards last year they were tryna have the cast of best man shucking and jiving across the stage and she wasn't having it. Naomi really thought her ex was going to be 'the one'. She still models because she never saved her money up throughout the years. Trust, if Naomi never got on drugs and wasn't living careless; 'The Face' wouldn't even exist.

She got very skinny because of stressing, drinking, and she started dieting. She's experimented with it before but that's not really her thing.

Kim has gotten a tummy tuck, she got some type of brow lift done, nose job, cheek implants, lip fillers, a boob job a long time ago, and a fat transfer. Every part of her body has been altered.

I tried to tell people about Shonda and her jealousy towards the acclaim that Kerry was getting for the show, but nobody wanted to listen.

Shonda drastically changed the writing for Kerry/Olivia when she got more popular than the show.. when all those "what would Olivia Pope do" memes started popping up. That was back in season 2. And when Kerry got nominated for an Emmy, and her name became synonymous with Scandal rather than Shonda's, Shonda said F it. She began writing her as a fulfledged bird. Shonda made sure Kerry had no material to submit for Emmys this year. She issued the mandate to her writers. She made it clear that Olivia was not to be shown as a professional woman and squeezed another professional woman (Judy Smith) out of the way. Shonda does not like to be overshadowed on her own show.

People at ABC do speak when Shonda's isn't around.
