Secondly, what are your opinions on the diagnosis process? and is it still worth doing later in life?

I feel the diagnosis process is overly complex and too expensive, especially for adults. Unless you require a diagnosis to get support, or for some other reason, I don't see getting diagnosed as a requirement later in life.

Getting diagnosed as an adult can actually make some things worse. I've had fans tell me that they self-diagnose because if they got diagnosed they'd have their children taken from them, or lose their job, or have abusive relatives who would jump at the chance of gaining conservatorship.

If your life will continue perfectly fine without a diagnosis, it may be best to just self-diagnose, at least for later in life
