Is world revolution imminent
The world's politics have evolved over time, from monarchy to democracy, and I think that over time it will continue to get more beneficial to the working class. So is it possible the next stage of world politic is communism?

I agree, but then why in the 1900s was there a huge rise in communist nations, would it act like a 2nd world revolution.
The Russian Revolution was financially supported by Japanese Empire through Akashi Motojiro's secret operations. The funds came from a loan provided by Jacob Schiff, an American Jewish financier.
The World Revolution was financially supported by Soviet Russia through the Third Communist International and its International Liaison Department of the Communist International (OMS), and later through the International Department of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Any revolution requires massive amounts of capital.

I think socialism certainly has an excellent opportunity to foment new revolutionary sentiment in the Western hemisphere now that the US is tottering and losing its global dominance. It's only imminent if we work to make it happen, however. The seeds of revolution only sprout if you bother to plant them; otherwise all this discontent will fizzle out and be smothered under a capitalist system that was allowed to reconsolidate power.
We are definitely in a pre-revolutionary period. There are already many small revolutions popping off all over the world. We are seeing an end to globalization and a return to spheres of influence. But revolutions are tricky things. If they are not successful they only serve to strengthen the current system. We are living in interesting times.
No, I dont think we are close at all.
World revolution is already in progress, it's been revolving for like 4 billion years.
With technology owned by the rich, it is impossible. Especially social networks should be owned by the people
I agree, but for this change to take place I think A major change in government must take place. The government are the ones enabling the exploitation.
Yes and no. Deliberately adopting a lower tech approach actually has advantages in warfare. Especially in asymmetric warfare.
This is called offset strategy.
There's a reason that the US military does really poorly with insurgents. The US military can hack and track a phone, but it can't do the same with bicycle messengers.
Any revolution that has a hope of success is going to be an insurgency for this reason.
You’re missing a step buddy. Gotta work through some socialism first before communism.
Not until we get some theory that explains the path away from modern capitalism
if only someone would.. marx, engels and lenin already did, it's still relevant
What do you mean by 'is the next stage of world politics communism?' I mean on the one hand its right. The next stage of world politics must be communism(or socialism, actually marx and engels didnt differentiate hugely between the two) Because the alternative is we wont have any world politics, as we wont have any human civilization in at the latest 200 years. (Because of climate change, most conservative estimate, might be much earlier) On the other hand you might be implying the world will sorta progress naturally? Then you are completely wrong. We need proletarian revolutions lead by marxist partys (think Bolsheviki) to get there. The transition from feudalism to capitalism for example have been semi peaceful in many countries, because the ruling class could to large proportions stay a ruling class albeit a different one, under the new system...socialism can offer the ruling class only to be abolished, thats why they are fighting to avoid it in any case.
No, the world revolution isn't imminent as the human world hasn't even had widespread communist or socialist revolutions. So i think the only people who say that are idealistic Communists and utopian Communists.
The world will most likely go through a revolution of socialism rather than communism.
But even if the world goes down the path of worldwide socialist revolution, it doesn't mean the end goal to be communism, as the socialist state could always turn into a new economic model.
Im saying that monarchy "developed" into democracy, will democracy "develop" into socialism. This will likely be through revolution.
Global organized society as we know it will likely collapse by 2050. The next step will likely not be communism but multiple factions fighting over scarce resources as the US begins to collapse and lose global dominance.
What in your view is the stage before communism?
That would be "Socialism" which Lenin described as a transitory stage from capitalism to communism. Broadly speaking Socialism is defined by a system ruled by the working class with the objective of creating the structures of a communist society. Its the first stage of society that rethinks how ownership and labor should function in society, but it isn't the stage where those new functions are implemented.
Socialism is the journey, not the destination.
I was using them interchangeably similar to what marx and angels did
No, it will collapse.
People prefer greed.
At this point the world isn’t even doing real capitalism. You really think adam smith would approve of today’s economy. He really wouldn’t. We are starting to get the worst of both worlds.
No. If we lived in a good universe the revolution would have already been successful. We live in a world where the guilty walk free and the innocent are killed. Open your eyes. Goddamn.
No but an ethnic conflict is I’m convinced that the class war will have a racial element to it
I have read them
