NEW❗🌬️Exclusive Qigong-Based Chanting Method ✨

(Silent method — if you prefer vocal chanting, you do not need to use this technique)

  1. Sit on the front one-third of the chair 🪑. Do not lean back. Keep your spine straight.
  2. Keep your head level, neck straight, chin slightly tucked in. Align the crown of your head (Baihui), your lower abdomen (Dantian), and the earth’s center in one straight line. Place both hands on your lower abdomen 🤲.
  3. Gently separate your teeth and let the tongue rest on the upper palate 👅.
  4. Keep your eyes half-open, half-closed, softly gazing toward the tip of your nose 👁️, allowing only a little light.
(Once you can visualize the Buddha clearly in your mind without looking at an image, you may try this method.)
  5. Adjust your breathing — longer, slower, smoother, and more even 🌬️.
  6. Let the qi sink into the lower abdomen. Allow the waist to settle and relax downward; find the exact location of the Dantian — about three finger-widths below the navel, behind the small intestine, in front of the lumbar spine, very close to the Mingmen point. Feel your mind settle there and remain there 🟡.
  7. Breathing + Silent Chanting
    • Inhale ➜ silently recite “A-Mi” 🌟, feel the lower abdomen expand.
    • Exhale ➜ silently recite “Tuo-Fo” 🙏, feel the abdomen gently contract, gathering into the lower Dantian as a small point of light🔸.
    • Inhale again ➜ “A-Mi”, abdomen expands, the light point grows into a small glowing sphere ✨🟡✨.
    • Repeat continuously.
  8. After 20–30 minutes, or once your breath naturally becomes slow, long, and steady, switch to:
    • Inhale ➜ “A-Mi-Tuo-Fo” 🌈
    • Exhale ➜ A-Mi-Tuo-Fo 🙏
Continue repeating with the same Dantian expansion and contraction rhythm.
    • Listen inwardly to the silent sound of your own Buddha-name. Every syllable should be clear and distinct.
  9. When finished, slowly open your eyes and return to full peripheral vision — not just the space directly in front of you.

The Most Important Element of Success 🔑

Consistency. Nothing else matters more.

Even 3 minutes a day produces results — what matters is practicing every single day.

You may:

  • Upon waking → practice silently while lying in bed for 3 minutes.
  • Before sleep → lie down and practice 3 minutes (you may fall asleep in 10 seconds).
  • If you wake up at night or struggle with insomnia → practice immediately.
You will either fall asleep quickly, or—even if you don’t—you will still accumulate immense merit and settle the mind.
  • And of course, if you are able to practice for a longer session during the day, your progress will multiply and become noticeably more powerful.

Key to Stopping the Monkey Mind 🔑

High-quality Nianfo means minimizing wandering thoughts — very difficult for most people.

You can check constantly:

  • If a thought arises 💭 → your mind has floated upward into the chest.
  • If an emotion arises (e.g., anger) 😡 → your mind has risen to the head.
  • This is harmful for both practice and daily life.

Whether chanting or living, keep the mind anchored in the lower abdomen ⚪.
If you can do this, thoughts naturally stop, and the door to wisdom opens 🔓✨.

With such a pure and steady heart, chanting the Buddha’s Name will surely receive the blessings and protection of all Buddhas 🙏🌸.

Positive Signs of Effective Practice 🌸

  • Saliva begins to form in the mouth — swallow it slowly and gently.
  • The mind becomes clear, the body and mind feel light and comfortable.
  • Improve posture: As the breath and center of gravity sink, the body becomes stable like a tumbler doll — naturally upright, with no forward lean.
  • Overall health improves: more daytime energy, easier falling asleep, and better sleep quality.
  • With consistent practice, you will begin to feel a natural warmth in the lower abdomen during cultivation.
