> Description: Amtrak is a hybrid of an Avali and P42 locomotive. She can run as fast as the real locomotive, reaching a top speed of 103 MPH. She has a Nathan K5LA horn in his voicebox. The horn will sound every time she screams. Her body, tail, fluff, and feathers are as durable as a locomotive body, yet still remaining soft and flexible to the touch. Her body texture looks almost identical to Amtrak’s Phase V locomotive paint scheme. Her body, feathers, and tail are a mix of Amtrak Blue, and Amtrak White. She has beautiful Amtrak Blue eyes. Amtrak is a very friendly/caring Avali. She loves head pats, hugs, and snuggles. > Backstory: Amtrak hatched on planet Avalon, she was common like the other Avali with similar skin colors and eyes. But she was unfortunately kidnapped 3 years later by human space explorers, and sold to a research facility on Earth. There she was locked in a cage with little food for 14 painful Earth years. Then one night, Amtrak was able to pick the lock on the cage and sneak out of the facility unnoticed. Once Amtrak was outside, the facility’s escape alarm sounded. She then ran off into the nearby forest, panicked and confused. She starts wondering how to get home, she then remembers snatching her confiscated Nexus device while escaping the facility, so she could send an sos to an Avali spacecraft and get rescued. After walking for a while, Amtrak finds something unusual, a railroad line running through the middle of the forest. She instantly remembers watching the trains that hauled stone from the mines on Avalon. It was her favorite thing to do. She then noticed a train in the distance, so she decided to watch it pass to relive the old memories. She noticed the railroad name on the locomotive was the same name her parents gave him after hatching. Once the train passed, Amtrak suddenly collapsed on the ballast, coughing in pain and fainted. Her body reacted strangely with the locomotive diesel emissions she accidentally inhaled. The colors on her body changed to blue and white. Amtrak railroad logos appeared on different parts of her body. She grew a Nathan K5LA horn in her voicebox, and her mind was flooded with trains and railroading. Once Amtrak regained consciousness, she opened her new Blue eyes and looked at herself. She realized that the P42 locomotive’s diesel emissions gave her new abilities and turned her into a new avali, the first of her kind. Amtrak squealed with joy, hugging her new blue and white tail. She ran down the tracks at a fast speed of 103 MPH, having the time of her life. While speeding down the line, Amtrak noticed something coming down from the sky. It was an Avali spacecraft responding to the sos call. She immediately ran over to a nearby field and started waving to get their attention, but that didn't work. So she decided to scream for them, and when she did, the loud horn engaged. Amtrak was shocked to discover she had a horn in her body. And the noise was just enough, the avali spacecraft found her. The ship landed in front of her, then a door opened. An avali held out his hand to Amtrak, pulled her into the ship, and jumped to lightspeed, heading back to Avalon. Today Amtrak lives in Avalon, reunited with her parents. She has since learned the Avali culture, films stone trains on the planet, and even started an Avali Railfan Club. She has also provided the Avali Government with ideas from the U.S. rail network to upgrade and improve Avalon’s rail lines. She plans to head back to Earth to scour the U.S. rail network to film more trains, including the railroad that gifted her powers and abilities.
