Standard for Handling Guest Review after Property Renovation

The article introduces the renovation standards required for pre-renovation review handling and the criteria for managing guest reviews post-renovation. The following 2 renovation standards must be met entirely for pre-renovation reviews handling:

1. Renovation Options for Public Areas

The lobby, reception, restaurant, meeting rooms, fitness center, swimming pool, entertainment facilities for children

-  4-5 star properties, at least 2 renovation options are required

-  0-3 star properties, at least 1 renovation option is required

2. Renovation for All Guest Rooms

Both hard and soft furnishings require renovation

- Hard furnishings must meet all 4 criteria: walls, floors, furniture, and bathrooms. For bathrooms, at least 3 criteria must be met: floors, walls, shower area, toilet, washbasin, and bathtub

- Soft furnishings must meet at least 2 criteria, like appliances, bedding, carpets, curtains


Note: 

1. Pre-renovation reviews cannot be deleted, only can be collapsed and not counted to scoring. Starting from Nov 10, 2025, pre-renovation reviews will not be counted into amounts either. Every review will mark 'Hotel Renovated After Stay'.
