My organization has had some modest success helping some people receive survival money, we raised about $3000 when Brian Merchant wrote about us on his blog: https://www.bloodinthemachine.com/p/hundreds-of-workers-mobilize-to-stop I'm connecting with a PR agency that does pro bono work for anticapitalist organizations, so hopefully more good media coverage will soon follow. More media means more public awareness so we can fight Gen AI as a society, and also more fundraising so we can help more people survive when Gen AI comes for their jobs!
