Yes, but what is the solution? You have simply described the problem.

  • Shock vpn promising me a free trial promising a vpn which will bypass captcha issues but seem to have ghosted before fulfilling the offer. Happened more than once on this forum.

It's the the game of cat and mouse, no matter your solution it may be blocked later on, and the ip is not the sole factor, also the webrowser fingerpint is a factor.

For example, to monitor pricing changes on a website protected by captcha, I had better luck running on a virtual machine and a basic desktop web browser standard resolution with a monitoring extension running 24/7. Solutions on a vps datacenter with tools like changedetection or selenium like do not work for a lot of websites even without any vpn.

The device also can be a factor; Apple devices are less likely to have captcha issues because of some tools and agreements such as Private Access Tokens from cloudflare.

EDIT: I got too much into detail, but basically it is almost impossible, especially bigger providers, Might have more chances with less-known providers but then, they might have more strict rules such as disallowing VPN use since they can't afford to be in trouble.

I think the IP is the sole cause actually, because I used the same browser profile for both vpn and vps at one time, so everything the same except the IP and when using vpn blocked all around. When using the vps not blocked. Well it is actually blocked on different sites. Blocked for vps on reddit, not on some other site and vice versa.

So yes, I think IP is the sole cause in my case.

Then why some other replies here are saying that they have no issues with vpn and using cloudflare?

I misunderstood your question, I don't use commercial vpn services. I run my own vpn via many budget vps and was answering in that capacity (rarely/never having issues with CF).

yeah I didnot mentioned the soultion. if we mention sth, the bad guy tend to find new way to pressure site-owner(webmaster?)

but maybe this could associated with some trusty point in future (kinda link cloudflare account to proof a good person) for this case

    edit:

aha~ own an self asn range + ip could help to isolated from noisy neighbor. but too expensive.

Also some site detect vpn, and tag ip. even the user didnot do evil (fair usage: just like privacy reason/ break some firewall in Iran China Russia North Koera and...) , but onion and vpn is treated under colored glasses.

I know, and that is how I read your reply.

There was discussion that all datacenter IPs are blocked, which vpses would fall under too.

Please provide me your vpses so I may spam them to ground. :smirk: I am only using for personal, not for any kind of things like that. Those days are behind me.
