Her presence wasn’t always about the loudest laugh or the flashiest move. Sometimes, it was just a hum, a pun, a comfy vibe that made even the roughest days a bit easier to float through. And when the tide of life felt like too much, she reminded us it was okay to just tread water. Nevertheless, when you find yourself staring out to the sea, keep an eagle's eye; you might spot a lazy little fin just struggling by - a streamer shark who somehow didn't know how to swim until recently. After all, the ocean is big... but it's not THAT big.

Like many others here today, Gura grasped my heart and instantly became my "oshi." Her quirkiness, humor and overall jolly and fun personality made her a joy to watch. As time went on, Hololive has grown into what it is today, debuting many generations in JP, EN, and ID as well as surpassing records, such as most subscribed vtuber, by yours truly, Gawr Gura. While it is disheartening to see Gura graduate, Gura has had an extraordinary journey at Hololive, 5 long years. It is in our best interest to send her off with a smile, cherish our memories with her and look towards the brighter future. Thank you Gura for the all you've done, and wish you all the best 😁

I know Dr. Seuss once said "Don’t Cry Because It’s Over; Smile Because It Happened" but I hope you'll forgive us if we cry a little anyways. It seems like just yesterday I was watching you debut during the depths of the pandemic, watching you grow these past five years has been wonderful. You have a heart of gold and the voice of an angel, wherever you go and whatever you do in the future, above all, I wish you happiness. Saying goodbye has always felt too final to me, in German one of the more popular phrases to say upon a parting is auf wiedersehen which roughly translates to until I see you again, in case this I find that sentiment more appropriate. So, to you instead of goodbye I will say that I will look forward to the occasion where I will see you again

Sabiko Sama is the name of her new alias and the model is so expressive and cute that its hard to remember theres any difference at all!

Her final performance was one with raw vocals and emotions. No perfected balancing or editing to make some grand concert. Just herself out there as honestly as she could be for her fans and the world to see. I really appreciate this performance from her, and I'm glad she was willing to share so much with us.

Gura came around at was one of the worst times of my life and to say she hasn't had an impact on me as a person would just be a lie. The people nor the environment wasn't the best around that time. It would always make my day/night whenever i tuned into one of her streams or just watching highlight clips of her. It gave me a reason to continue on to the next day. I didnt keep up that much with myth, but a memory ill always hold dear was one shitty christmas when i was alone and the girls happened to be doing a Christmas party stream, and it made me feel a bit better having their fun banter to keep me company. The impact you've had on the vtubing scene cant be understated. You will always be a legend.

Five years ago, I remember when Myth each first debuted, then Irys, then Council, Advent, and most recently, Justice. To think that EN began already 5 years ago, half a dacade. And now, we've been seeing the senpais move on to new beginnings one by one, especially these past months, and now, our goomba too. It really is the end of an era, and the beginning of a new one.
