He's just a twitter sperg. like Ian Miles Chong or slowbeef: Outside of posting on twitter too much and taking too seriously, he isn't close in cow territory like Razorfist, TheRalph, Moviebob, Sargon, Brianna Wu or Boogie. He's just kinda eccentric, which doesn't mean he's exceptional (yet, at least).

Even comparing him to Cheong is a bridge too far. Styx is just a goofy pagan hippie who got involved in the dawn of youtube and smoked too much spice as a young adult. He took a few red pills and believes a few odd conspiracies. Who doesn't at this point? Cable TV viewers all seem to think Putin hacked voting machines.

He has shrugged off nearly any drama or "scandal" that came for him at record speed. The crossdressing meme and Jared Holt bother him, but that's reslly it.

His garden is looking extra nice btw. Ban me from this thread if you have to.

He's more of a kook than a lowcow in my opinion. There's a very fine line between the two, but he's definitely on the non-exceptional side of that line.

Uhm, that's kinda true, but then they moved it so it doesn't align with the winter solstice.

The Christians mirrored parts of paganism to convert the pagans. Jesus dying for 3 days and resurrecting makes him a personification of the winter solstice, where the sun "dies" for 3 days.

This distinction even led to bloodshed after The Synod of Whitby, where an English king played arbiter between the Roman church and Irish church (pagan). It was a decision as to the date of Easter (the solstice).
 

I agree he seems more like a kooky pagan hippie than a true sperg, I mean he does say some wacky shit but I also can't get too outraged at someone who seems to care about cats as much as he does. For the 50th time in this thread, Styx is not a lolcow. I find him very intelligent and convincing, he somehow is edgy without stirring up drama against others.

Unlike your standard lolcow, he is consistent and gets less weird over time. The only thing this thread has delivered is the crossdressing thing (which is admittedly funny af)

Gravedancing on McCain's death on Twitter is a nothingburger. It's McCain we're talking about, it was a reasonable reaction to that cunt's death.
 
I'm fairly certain the crossdressing thing wasn't even him though he did put lipstick (and makeup?) on a few times. Pretty funny that you have a guy like Styx cheering on illiberal governments like Bolsonaro, Orban, and to a lesser extent regarding illiberlism Trump though. You know your hippy movement went off the rails when someone like him becomes a cheerleader for the overt other side. Maybe that dichotomy is what strikes me most about him
