City Escape はソニックシリーズの中でも一番好きなステージのひとつで、特に Generations 版が大好きです。
でも背景の制作難度が高すぎて、「やっつけ」でまとめつつ面白さも出す…というのが自分には無理でした。
なので最終的に、元のゲーム映像をそのまま使う形にしました。
当時プレイした時、MD版のIce cap zone ステージに似た構成を感じていて、
DC では“次世代機だ！”って実感できるレベルで再現されていて、本当に名ステージ＆名曲ですよね!!
