Site Formation and Infrastructure Works at Tseung Kwan O – Ying Yip Road

The roundabout will be temporarily closed on
25 October 2025 night (11:00PM to 6:00AM on the
next day). The junction will be converted to a signal- controlled junction by water-filled barriers. During the
closure, traffic can still left turn from Po Ning Road to
Ying Yip Road (blue arrow on the left).
The junction will be closed at night (11:00PM to
5:00AM on the next day) for pavement works from
Monday to Thursday in the first quarter of 2026. The
roads will be reopened in the following morning. The
Project Team estimated that approximately 20 to 30
working nights will be required to complete the
pavement works. The planned schedule will be
released in due course.

(Temporary Road Closure Phase 1 will be implemented on 25 October 2025 night)
The roundabout at Ying Yip Road, Po Ning Road and Sheung Ning Road junction will be permanently
converted into a signal-controlled junction. To facilitate the aforesaid works, the roundabout will be temporarily
closed at night and series of temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented. The corresponding road
closure will be implemented in the following two phases.

During the implementation of the night time temporary traffic arrangements, public transport
services will be diverted accordingly. Some en-route stops will be affected, including 1 Fu Ning
Garden, 2 opposite Hau Tak Estate, 3 Hau Tak Estate Tak Chak House, 4 Chung Ming Court,
5 Sheung Ning Playground, 6 Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool, 7 Chung Wa Road, 8 Ming
Tak Estate and 9Yuk Ming Court.
