Delete the other boards. We only really need /pol/, /raid/, and /soy/, maybe /qa/. Sharty is too much of a DNB to have more than 5 boards.

imo we should only keep these boards:
soy, pol, raid, r9k, r, q
Since r9k is meant for more less-soysphere discussions it could include /tech/, /mtv/, /asp/ and so on. Just increase the thread limit to 50 or something.

1. Have regular reppeys not bump threads. For a thread to be bumped, a user has to manually bump the thread by entering it into the email field, which is on a cooldown. You can also not bump your own thread. Sages move a thread down by one; super sages function the same.
<'eddit
2. Have a pinned on /soy/ demonstrating how to hide threads, both the shift-click method for catty browsers, and the arrow-hide for mobile and index browsers. Make it clear to 'teens that you do NOT have to engage with a thread you don't like.
<'eddit
3. Bring back /nate/, but make it locked, and also bring back janny thread moving. Obvious bait, porn/fetish/epi, NAS forced with IAS, will all be moved here. Containment boards didn't work in the past because they were a one-way containment, not complete containment; people could go in and post whatever horrid coal they wanted.

I'm sure I have more ideas, but these are just my main 3 big changes. I'd also like to see more open and transparent discussion between 'teens and jannies, more frequent Q&A's with BBQ, who's supposed to be a community manager, but sometimes it feels impossible for said community to get either side involved in the site. Finally, I think more genuine input should be allowed from 'teens on the site. I understand that if every single concern was taken at face value for the direction of the site, it would be a mess, but there are plenty of 'teens or are worried about the future of the site, who's pushing it where, and what actors are having effects on here.
