Chinese media have all just published the following “apology” from someone called Lai Zonglong (赖宗隆), who claimed he’s a member of the film crew for Ayu’s concert in Shanghai. In short Lai claims that he lied when he uploaded his pic — I believe he meant the pic below — to social media and said Ayu performed to an empty house… I’m not sure if I get this right but apparently Beijing is trying to discredit Ayu by claiming she didn’t play to an empty house…
Anyway, they probably didn’t have a chance to check out Ayu’s Instagram posts and so didn’t know Ayu had confirmed she had played to an empty house together with her band, dancers and crew…
